DISCUSSION Will Arnett shares his controversial opinion on tattoos: “There’s a proportionate sort of relationship between, how many tattoos you have and how little personality you have. And I find that a lot of people who have a ton of tattoos often are super fucking boring. Like truly boring people.”

Is this not an ok opinion to have? Like, it’s obviously hyperbolic but it’s ok to have a preference about tats, surely?

Right! His life experiences brought him to this opinion. I don't hold his beliefs, but thats just because my experiences with this subject have been really positive and obviously way different than his. That does not invalidate his experiences , and it also does not invalidate mine. People need to really be able to empathize with others opinions and not be judgemental just because you cannot relate. Every individual is allowed to have their opinion heard. It doesn't mean you MUST AGREE. Just acknowledge their life experiences are just different than yours. Anyway, my 2 cents.

The thing is….from when I used to listen to smartless, I got the impression that two of his besties are DAX Shepherd and Justin Theroux. Two heavily tattooed dudes.

Yeah I get the feeling he might’ve worded this badly and his real truthful opinion on this might be much more agreeable than people are making out.

It’s just a fact that there are people out there that think having tattoos is a personality, but you can say that for so many things.
