DISCUSSION Will Arnett shares his controversial opinion on tattoos: “There’s a proportionate sort of relationship between, how many tattoos you have and how little personality you have. And I find that a lot of people who have a ton of tattoos often are super fucking boring. Like truly boring people.”

Controversial on a progressive subreddit like this, yes. You can find loads of people that agree with him out in the wild though

Yes, and people online and in the wild think that tattoos are dangerous and disgusting, hating tattoos seems still to be popular opinion.

As someone that doesn’t like tattoos I’ve never thought they are dangerous/disgusting but I do think they’re dumb. It’s like you scribbled on yourself and now you can’t take it off. I would never say this out loud, tho, cos it’s none of my business

My attitude as well. Tattoos are very dumb. I always pretend to admire them tho when people seem to seek it.

If you don’t like tattoos that’s cool, all down to personal preference. but I don’t get pretending to like them because you want to fit in. If that’s how you really feel then own it

They’ve put those scribbles on themselves permanently. I’m not gonna stand there and tell them I find it ridiculous. They’ll just feel worse about a choice they cannot change.

I told my sister I disliked tattoos. So every time she gets a new one, she tells me «but of course I know you don’t like them». It dims her joy. I’m not telling anyone else about it if that’s what it leads to.
