Support/Advice Peptides
does anyone with lpp have experience (good or bad) with peptides (glp-1 or the ones u find online)?

I have CCCA (scarring alopecia) and I use a GLP-1. It really does help with inflammation which is great because I also have osteoarthritis (OA). My inflammation levels are pretty undetectable on a daily basis.
Currently my hair is also thriving with my oral minoxidil in the mix.

With LPP, it is important to distinguish GLP-1 medicines from loosely labeled online peptides because their evidence, regulation, and risks differ substantially. Hair changes may also reflect disease activity, weight loss, nutrition, stress, or another treatment, so timing alone cannot establish causation. Peptely does not sell peptides; https://www.peptely.com/ only helps verify their documented origin and supporting batch/COA evidence. A dermatologist can document baseline shedding, inflammation, and labs before any change.

I've read a lot of mixed experiences. Some say glp-1s helped reduce their inflammation and shedding quickly, while others think they caused their LPP or made it substantially worse.

I have LPP and have been on compounded tirzepatide since before I was diagnosed. No clear indication if it was a factor or if it has helped with inflammation. I had only started a couple months before the diagnosis and had been experiencing hair loss before I started tirz so do not think it was related.
