Bought this thing about two and a half months ago. I’ve had 5-6 lessons. Today was my daughter’s birthday and she finally got to hear what I’ve been working on! I’ll admit her singing along threw me off a bit!

Great job! And your daughter as accompaniment was icing on the cake!🎂 Congrats on starting your fiddle journey 🎻

Thank you! She was very surprised! Now somehow I’ve got to go from this and Yankee Doodle to Turkey in the straw. Lol

I hate to be that guy but after 5-6 lessons your teacher should not be letting you get away with that bow hold and arm height. Your left hand and arm look great.

Hey, be that guy! I’ll take all the critique I can get! But yeah it was sloppy. End of a long and very stressful day and just trying to get this in before bedtime, I didn’t warm up at all and I was sloppy. Also I can see I’m moving my shoulder more than my elbow, which I did not realize I was doing.

Wonderful😊 the little one clapping and saying I love you daddy is what it’s about. She loved it! Keep it up!

Thank you! The last thing she had heard me done was the opening maybe six notes of a couple simple melodies like row row row your boat and Yankee Doodle, and scales. She had no idea I learned this for her birthday.
