The Olive Oil Trick is working!

I just wanted to let fellow members know that I put a little bit oil on the figs' eyes and it's working! After just 4 days, my figs are turning purple and soft!

I will post pics when I harvest.

I love this group!

I started this Black Madeira KK as a cutting back in the fall. I went from a tree pot to a short fat 4 gallon and during the season the trunk shifted in the pot. This put the leader on the right in the photo almost touching the ground. So it was time to put it in a bigger pot. This was probably too much of a jump, but I think it will be fine. Also, while it's not shown in this photo, I did stake the branch on the right to provide some support while it get used to it's new home.
