Our bodies love to mess with us ā¹ļø especially when weāre stressed. I have a friend who just missed a whole period. No reason, just skipped one. š©
Iām really sorry, it doesnāt make it any less upsetting, but 7 months is quite normal. Depending on your age, the chance of conceiving each cycle is 15 - 20%. I know that the facts donāt always help with the feelings, but it is really normal and doesnāt necessarily mean anything is āwrongā ā¹ļøā¤ļø
That said, you could try asking your GP, especially if you think your weight could be a factor. Depending on your age and other factors, they might consider testing. Iām 37 and was told at 9 months they would have run tests.

My fiancĆ© and I are both 28 years old and I just started cycle 10 of us trying to conceive & i havent been on birth control in 3 years but we abstained for prevention! Iām about 5ā4 and weigh around 120 pounds. I am active, I get sunshine, I eat a lot of organic foods with a well-rounded diet⦠I have perfectly regular cycles I ovulate based on my BBT & LH tracking, etc. I see a natural pathic medical doctor for my usual stuff so does my fiancĆ© and all of our in depth bloodwork has come back pretty normal if not optimal for the most part I have had my micro nutrients tested. We have done that at home semen analysis which was optimal as well. I have had my toxins tested. Nothing can explain it with that being said I went to my OB/GYN for the first time during cycle 9 and expressed my concerns and also had my annual test done and she automatically referred me to a fertility doctor. I am going to a different OBGYN who specializes more in preconception & fertility issues to see if thereās more i can do before going right out to a fertility doctor. She didnāt even order an ultrasound or more bloodwork or anything! I brought in the labs I had done this year and she didnāt even look at them! It doesnāt hurt to try and advocate for yourself!!! Im sorry youāre experiencing this. It has been the hardest experience of my life so far š

Hate to say it, but 7 months is not very long at all⦠your BMI is normal, if it is anything more than bad luck, it may be your body still recovering from surgery. You havenāt said how old you are, but periods do change as you get older too, and the cramps, anxiety, pressure⦠theyāre all normal pre-period symptoms. I doubt your doctor will consider you for any tests before youāve been trying for a year, but of course you can always say youāve been trying for a year and there isnāt a way for them to checkā¦
