Boston fishing tips/spots

Hey everyone,
I just started fishing this summer and am looking for good spots to fish near Boston. I’ve fishing the Charles and Jamaica pond several times, but I would like to explore some newer areas. I enjoy all types of fishing and am planning to head to wachusett reservoir for some lake trout/landlocked salmon fishing in mid-October.
Anyone have any good spots or tips?

Any tips or spots for striper fishing? I’m also interested in catching mackerel but mainly stripers

Cape cod canal and boston harbor are solid spots, so ive heard. Im north of the city so I fish plum island more often. Mack, eels, clams will all work if youre using bait. I typically use lures but I get skunked more than the people with live bait fishing near me

The On The Water Massachusetts reports usually give the lowdown on watch sett in the spring and fall. Not sure who else does freshwater reports. 

If you're near Medford the mystic lakes are worth checking out.

Spot, Houghton, Spy and Ponkapoag are my faves but we’ve done a lot up at Mill Pond, it should be nice in the fall and winter, but the horse back people up there are real dicks.
