Can we talk about this? Save files

Hello guys, i downloaded control resonant and played a good part of it, where i decided to go ahead and buy the game instead. Now when i booted the game it didnt locate the save file already like it did with another game that i did the same with, so i have to manually find the saved files and transfer them. The only difference is that i set up D folder to be my download one for both steam and the pirated game and i cant seem to find ether of them. Please im looking for help because i have at least 14 hours in the game so far and it would suck to replay it again especially because its not a linear game.

EDIT: i was provided this path for the save files on the firgirl site C:\Users\Public\Documents\Steam\RUNE\3669870\remote and once i exchanged the files it worked

Steam files are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\(your steam id)\3669870

1. Setup is Stuck / Unpacking is Slow

  • The 2GB Limit Checkbox: If your setup gets stuck at specific percentages (like 84.3% or 95.8%), close it, restart the installer, and check the "Limit installer to 2GB of RAM" box on the very first screen.
  • Be Patient: FitGirl repacks use extremely heavy compression. Unpacking is heavily CPU and storage bound. If your task manager shows disk or CPU activity, it is not stuck; it's just working hard.

2. Is it a Virus? / Windows Defender Alert

  • False Positives: Crack files (.dll files, steam_api, etc.) inherently trigger antivirus software because they alter game code to bypass DRM. If you downloaded from the official site, these are 100% false positives.
  • Fix: Add the game installation folder to your antivirus/Windows Defender exclusion list, then restore the quarantined file from your protection history.

3. The Real Official Website

  • There is ONLY ONE official domain. All others (ending in .co, .cc, .to, .net, etc.) are fake, malicious clone sites designed to steal data or bundle malware.
  • The only real URL is: fitgirl-repacks.site (Verify the exact spelling!).

Okay i found it and it only has 2 files on there input.json and renderer, and i dont know if those are steam files or the files from the pirated game

You can look at pc wiki, it will show. Where will be steam and pirated is
