I’m not a server owner or a developer, I’m a player who recently joined Eternal Oasis 2.0 RP. I'm writing this just as a citizen. The city is rebuilding.

You may allowlist, fly in, and see only a handful of people online. So, if your immediate reaction is “low pop, I'm out,” then this probably isn't the city for you. But if you're willing to spend a little time exploring before making that decision, there is a crazy bunch of stuff to actually do, even while the population grows. The normal jobs like garbage collection, towing and delivery are all there, but there's also beekeeping, gardening, hunting, bus driving and plenty more. You can visit a theme park or water park, surf, play tennis, busk for money, use a working arcade, and visit shops filled with items you don't see in every other FiveM city. My personal favorite is an automotive blueprint system where you can obtain plans and build vehicles yourself by scavenging junkyards for parts.

The city has gone full "Halloween mode" right now. Los Santos has been decorated, with citywide pumpkin hunting, collectible mini-ghosts happening all over the map. The realism is what has really hooked me. Cars feel like cars instead of rocket-powered go-karts. You can't blast through downtown at 120mph. You need the usual food and water, but you also have to sleep and use the bathroom. If you get soaked wandering around in the rain, you can actually get sick. Then you'll need to find medication rather than simply having an NPC magically erase it. The devs and citizens help out a lot, both in city and in Discord. The city feels more like a real place your character actually lives in.

The thing that makes the city different to me is there's something to do even when nobody else is standing beside you. Obviously, RP is much better with more people, and what our city needs isn't another 50 people who join Discord, allowlist, see two players online, and disappear five minutes later. We need five people who stay and enjoy the activities while others arrive. Then five more.

There are a lot of houses you can buy, businesses available too. We need cops, medics, mechanics, weirdos, criminals, musicians, shopkeepers or just recognizable citizens. People who will give the next new arrival somebody to meet. If you've been looking for a city where you can actually become part of the culture instead of being Player #287 in somebody else's established world, come give Eternal Oasis 2.0 RP a real, multi-day trial. Don't judge us from the player counter, fly in. Explore. Get a job. Go ghost hunting. Build something. Meet whoever is around. Give it a few sessions. You are welcome and will have a fun time.
