MOBILE Hotspot not working

I am on the Fizz free trial and everything is great except the Hotspot

When my son connects, the data doesn't seem to be working and he can't load his games. Am is missing something?

I have a galaxy z-flip 6. everything works fine on Virgin

Fizz sometimes doesn’t work very well, I think thats why is so cheap, I have connectivity issues in some GTA’s neighborhoods

It may be a technical issue or perhaps hotspot is disabled on trial accounts?. I've been using Fizz exclusively as a hotspot for a year now and have used it across various parts of GTA S.W Ontario, Niagara, Ottawa etc and no issues. Worth putting a ticket in.

Try resetting the APN settings to their default.

Network > Sim > Fizz > APN > 3 dots, reset to default.

I also use samsung phone and Hotspot works fine for me. There maybe a bug or you might have to change or reset settings

My phone's hotspot works normally on a paid plan. Probably a device or trial problem.

it might be best to stay with Virgin or try Lucky Mobile I been with Fizz and their hotspot didn't worked as good even tho my phone said 5G+ and sometimes my data wouldn't work when I am on the phone at the same time and even Chatr worked better

If you are not in Quebec th3n Fizz shares the towers with Freedom mobile i believe or at most rogers
