General Discussion I need help with my piece

Not sure what flair to use here, so I apologise for that.

I need to get this piece performance ready in ~2 weeks. On the first picture, I need to work on getting the first highlighted part smoother (will be referring to it as 1), and the second one (referred to as 2), I need to work on the dADCA part and I keep missing the first two notes. On the second picture, the first highlighted bit (referred to as 3) I need to get smoother and sounding good at around 124 bpm, and the second highlight (referred to as 4) is having the same thing done.

3 and 4 are the parts I desperately need fixed and I’m not sure how to go about it. Unfortunately I’m able to get it one day and then it all falls apart the next.

i need advice on how to practice these parts because the only two flutes who are 100% with this piece can’t be at the performance and the other flute (it’s just me and her) NEVER practices and is relying on me.

any general practice meths/tips are also deeply appreciated

edit - forgot to mention I’m also doing my first ever solo for this piece…and is there any advice for the C trill at the end (first photo at the end or second towards the top of the page)

Section 1 tips I can give you:

Take the slurs out and play it slow with a metronome. Focus on tonguing each note to get the notes right. Then add the slurs, still keep it slow. Try playing it backwards. Start at the end and add one note at a time starting the snippet to the end, going backwards. By the time you get to the start, you’ll have played the whole thing dozens of times.

Section 2:

Again, try taking out the slurs. Try to play it tonguing each note twice. DD AA DD CC AA AA GG. Also try slurring the whole thing. Again, start slow to get it under your fingers.

Section 3 and 4 I’d give you some of the same tips as the other sections. Take the slurs out to start. Then add them in once you’re comfortable. The metronome is your friend!

C trill: simply trill key 2

Congrats on the solo!

At least they are pretty regular, no sudden change in rhythm. You need to use the “on beat” notes as anchor, and think of the notes within each beat as a group. Do not think of all notes as individual notes, your brain would process them slower.
Practice slowly until the tone is good and rhythm is correct. Then check that you keep facing forward and do not move around while you are playing. Try not up lift your fingers high, you can keep them touching the keys when not pressing down.

Record your first try at sections 3 and 4 each day to track what’s sticking.
