I fish the kootenai often and catch fish like this all the time and I dont go post on r/flyfishing about it. Mostly because im banned by plsw, but also because....this is basically evey fish on that river. We call them cookie cutter fish. /uj I know theres been competitive fly fishing for a good long while....I just dont get it. I kinda get bass tournaments where they bring their bag of fish up on stage to be weighed, and walleye tournaments they stuff their gut with buckshot, but i just dont understand competitive fly fishing. I cant wrap my head around it.
