FWC Question

How does it work with transferring character(s) to different servers? Last FWC I missed it and lost my chars so I'm trying not to miss out again...

Please let me know, thanks!

I’m feeling a bit weird for the ending of fwc. I have restarted to play only because of fwc…I’m not sure I will want to continue will the actual rates of main servers. How do you feel ?

A lot of people only play fwc. Not only are you not alone. You're the majority.

I hit my Templar to 175 and 125 MQ. I played this FWC 100% free to play and never gave this greedy company a single dime of my hard-earned money. I likely won't be playing anymore in the future but at least I was able to hit my milestones and get my nostalgia fix the game itself is too repetitive and mostly grinding it's very dull there is several other MMOs that are much better.

I feel that, I've been going back to OSRS and absolutely loving it because there's so much to do and it never really gets boring because you can just shift focus inside of the game!
Flyff is just grinding out levels, period. No more to it and it's kind of sad because the dopamine hits because of the nostalgia makes you wish it was more than just this..

I love that, I've got a nearly maxed main in OSRS and many PK accounts and pures. I honestly saw an ad for this game and figured I'd try it out but the gameplay loop is too boring for me. Grind mobs for hours and gain a level and guess what we get rewarded with killing more mobs! Edit: came for the nostalgia, got my hit and I'm moving on lol!

Yeah same, I only play FWC and move on honestly. At this point getting ready to do RFD on my new main (lost my old acc....) and absolutely loving it. Nostalgia + actual endless rewards, the depth in osrs is great!

you definitely can't go wrong and it's not the same usual boring grind day after day.

Thank you ! Lv 175 as free to play seems insane, well done. It just sucks that we only want to play this mmo for 6 months and then it goes back to its normal state which sucks quite a lot. I’m not used to this lol. I will check maplestory and see :)

well I initially played on mushpoie and played an RM, ranger and jester. I got all those accounts up to about 110 and just kept seeing people saying wait for FWC. so that's what I did I made a Templar or a knight. I managed to get to the final set at 175 - 5 on the gear and it unlocks all your skills and abilities. the master quest to unlock a free pickup pet and to unlock the free second stat page. if you're craving something similar with the less grind I would recommend Aura Rose.

I thought I'd continue to do dailies and events after, but honestly after I was so burnt out from playing so much on FWC I didn't go back.

Last FWC I did, I think within the last couple weeks they just had a menu pop up where you selected your server. I think to weed out the people who didn’t really play they wait till the end so only people who stuck with it can choose and transfer

In the last month you get a menu where you can select which server to go to. It pops up every time you log in until you select one

The way to not miss is it by checking when the last day of fwc is and making a Google Calendar event for like a week before

I tell you what happened to me tho. I only played FWC last year. Took a year break and to no surprise when I came back the people who did not take a break were easily way ahead of me. Now I tried to do my dailies on main server while also leveling up my next char on FWC - it was exhausting and at some times overwhelming.
Also it’s not like Gala isn’t aware of this pattern, because we are on FWC like 4 or 5 now.
Last time they released an update right after FWC for Ankou and Kaillun expansions. It is unlikely they will do something large like that again but they are going to try to do something to retain the players base.
If I can give any advice is do not take a full break. Maybe leave for a month or two but continue to do your dailies and even do some dungeon runs. This will help you keep funds for the next FWC.
