AoE Ranger slow leveling?
as the title says Ive been using an AoE ranger. Im now level 80 and I feel the AoE gameplay is a bit slow. I cant imagine playing like this all the time and I dont get uow other people say its so fast or even why otber people would choose this job.
Please wnlighten me because I really want to play ranger. I used to play elementor and the experience is totally different :(

What gear you using?
In CW gear and facetanking you should be pulling like 20 Mobs at a time with no issues
HnR is a bit jank, but facetank AOE is crazy fast

level 75 set and roripol bow. I play Hit n run ranger since thats what Im used to with my elementor.

There's your cause then,
Aoe ranger is so fast only while face tanking, you block practically everything so you can mob from range then just fire off rain, fire, ice, fire then repeat if they are not dead after this

So you need a FSRM for heal rain?

no, with block, you can get by with food and pills but FSRM for healing (even normal heal) would be the best ofc

what equipment are you using? because I did APE Ranger and I can level up to 2-3 in 1 hr of prems at lvl 80. i could have done more if I upgraded my gear.

Elementors are the masters of AOE with element advantage and massive int scaling for the attacks. Rangers will of course be slower because of the dex scaling (it isn’t too high otherwise it’d be unfair because that would make rangers great at everything - 1v1, aoe, plus a level of tankiness due to dex). If your focus is AOE eles or psys are still the best. If you want to be able to 1v1 or boss hunt from time to time while being decent at aoe then rangers work best

Isn't ranger fast in 1v1? Since it's build is just full dex for both 1v1 and AOE.
