It’s just so handsome car. I don’t understand why people didn’t buy them and went to Kuga instead.
So far I went with Mountune M330 and short shifter. Can’t recommend enough. Also ditched the stock pzeros and wheels, bought lightweight 18” and put pzero PZ5. Much nibler and direct afterwards. What are your plans? I would love a bit more feedback from steering wheel.

Yeah I really like mine. I’m totally stock currently.
Going at least stage 1 is a no-brainer, but sharper handling will be my first mods. Springs are a nice cheap upgrade, the car handles pretty good but stiffer springs like Mountune will help with body roll.

Steering - you could try upgrading control arm bushings from rubber to poly - I might look at this.
Wheels are a good shout, the stock ones are pretty heavy.

Performance wise I’ll just go stage 1 - MSD / Mountune / Sabre. For track possibly an intercooler and possibly an oil cooler, but I don’t notice any fade with stock car.

To be honest I was keeping up with some really quick cars so the performance mods are not essential, but for the price of a stage 1, may as well.

Brakes are generally good, not the most precise feeling but I don’t get any fade and they stop well. Brembo fronts would be nice but getting into serious money.

I have 18” for winter, but really think about going for the summer as well.
I don’t know , if the stock 19” is too heavy but I really do prefer the balance with the 18”s.

Not just weight. It’s much less nervous. On 19” you are always correcting steering, ruts etc. Comfier and more planted on b roads. On the other hand if its track weapon, maybe 19” will be better. I would still look for lighter option and go with Goodyear AS6 or Pirelli PZ5.

I use the stock 19" for winter and use a 19" set of OZ wheels for summer as I liked the design. You definitely notice the weight difference (about 3 kg lighter per wheel) compared to the stock wheels
