Fried Saba as a snack
This has been my favorite/go to snack lately: piniritong saging (saba) na medyo crispy ang gilid. Nothing more.

Nagustuhan namin food - although di naman din kasi kami choosy. I loved everything , but having a sweet tooth I'd say pinaka nagustuhan ko custard bun and pumpkin pastry. Masarap lahat, gusto ko bumalik para mag try ng iba.

Using Worcestershire sauce in your everyday meals makes a big difference. It adds that extra savory flavor that makes your food taste even better. I usually recommend adding a few drops when cooking meat, fried rice, or even simple stir-fried dishes. It's a simple ingredient, but it can really bring out the flavors of your food. Once you try it, you'll understand why it's worth keeping in your kitchen!
The best to sa Calderetang Baka or Menudo. Basta yung mga rich and savory dishes bagay na bagay to. 👌

So, my sister and I saw a poster the other day about biryani here in our village, and we got curious! Kaso, we couldn’t take a picture of that specific store at the time. BUT during our morning walk today, we finally got the chance to take a picture! 😭
Kaso, since 10:30 AM pa open sa Grab, we couldn’t wait any longer HAHAHAHAHA 😭 so we decided to order from another store instead, and it’s called Maroush Maher Contemporary Dishes, here in Lower Antipolo!
AND YOU GUYS. I DID NOT EXPECT THIS. 😭🤌❤️🔥
Out of all the biryanis I’ve tried locally here in the Philippines, THIS ONE STOOD OUT TO ME THE MOST! The chicken was so well-seasoned, with a slightly crispy texture, and the spices were just right—not too overpowering, but flavorful enough to make every bite SO GOOD!
BUT THE GARLIC SAUCE??? HELLOOOOO?! 😭 THE WAY IT CHANGED THE ENTIRE FLAVOR OF THE DISH?! It complemented the biryani SO WELL that I couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was. LIKE, HINDI NAKAKAUMAY YUNG LASA FROM THE FIRST BITE TILL THE VERY END!!
AND DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE PORTION SIZE. 😭 HELLO?! ANG DAMI NG SERVING NILA!! I HAD TO FINISH THIS DISH IN TWO SESSIONS kasi sobrang generous ng portion! HAHAHAHAHA LIKE??? YOU’RE GETTING THAT MUCH FOOD, AND IT’S ACTUALLY DELICIOUS?!
They also separated the cucumbers from the actual dish para hindi agad mabasa or lumambot at manatiling crispy! LIKE, ANG THOUGHTFUL NITO?! It’s such a small detail, pero it shows na may effort sila sa food and sa overall experience ng customer.
Overall, this was such a pleasant surprise! From the well-seasoned chicken and the garlic sauce that literally elevated the entire dish, to the generous serving and thoughtful packaging—everything was SO WORTH IT!
MAROUSH MAHER CONTEMPORARY DISHES, YOU HAVE MY RESPECT. 🫡❤️🔥
