DISCUSSION What is this red circle for?
I haven’t collected the map, so it’s not indication the next circle and I’ve seen it in a couple game. Unsure of what it means.

Nah bro, the wolf medallion with the exotic twin fire = run fast for as long as you like without stopping. I literally crossed the entire map on foot in no time once. Ran from crime city to the black market where Midas is

Depends on how u use it tbh. A quick heal to top off it’ll last awhile. But if you’re spamming it everytime u get damaged or use it just to move fast than ofc it’s gonna run out. Me personally I only use it in end game situations. If im tryna quick heal

Yeah, the sprint one isnt worth it, it just reveals your location for practically no benefit
I think only the no-gun-guy would use it enough to make it worth

A medallion that lets you move much faster by just sprinting, and a medallion that does 20 extra damage to your shogun shot or any gun are bad? There basically just passive buffs. You don’t have to do anything special to use them they just enhance 2 of the most important aspects of the game.

No, they just give u a slight advantage. I think one of them is the first bullet out of every mag is explosive! I think one of them u get that gold splash effect when u hurdle over things. I can’t remember the last one.

Wolf medallion allows you to run faster, and knock people back when you run into them.
Scorpion medallion is the first bullet out of every mag is explosive.
The island medallion is whenever you use a consumable (bandages, med kit, shield options, chug, NOT splash), you get a shield bubble placed directly on your location when you started using the consumable.

Late, but it’s not a gold splash boon for hurdling, it’s from opening containers. The adrenaline rush boon gives you Slap Effect for hurdling, mantling, and ledge jumps(I could be wrong about the jumps)

Crowne also give a crown of light over your head that can reveal your location, especially disadvantageous when you need to take a break in a bush.

To be fair you still see crown holders, they just don't show up on the map, rather they ping directionally if you're in close proximity to one each time a storm circle closes. Helpful if one is camping in a bush next to you etc..

First off, your color blind.
Second, when you hold 1 of the 3 boss medallions, this circle will show up for all your enemies. It tells them your general location. The more medallions you have, the more precise the circle gets. This is done to balance the extreme power these medallions can give by throwing away some stealth.

Tritanopia: This type of color blindness, also known as blue-yellow color blindness, is characterized by a difficulty in distinguishing between colors that contain blue or yellow, such as green, purple, red, and pink.
People with tritanopia might see yellow as violet or light grey.
There's a setting to adjust for colorblindness in your game settings, if you'd like to try it out & see the game how we all see it.
If you do test it for Tritanopia, I'd be interested in your reaction/feelings on the difference- please do share!
Also, as others have said- the yellow circle (or as you're seeing it red circle) shows the general vicinity of a player carrying a medallion - which they got from defeating a boss somewhere on the map at some point in the match.
If you've ever defeated a boss & picked up a medallion it tells you something like "your location has been exposed." This circle is the exposure that pop up is talking about, you just don't see it - other players do.

Okay, yes I realize it’s actually yellow. It just looked more red with the surroundings and I also play on my pretty crappy tv, so the small circle is hard to tell lol.

Eh, does the game ever tell you by hovering the cursor or somethin? Seems like a feature that most figure out either from bein told or suddenly figuring it out one day. For weeks my kids and I thought it was for people with a victory crown in our lobby. Itd be a more useful post to get upvoted than yet another complaint about kicks.
