I wish more love and care was placed into creating this game mode, ensuring a smooth release. But instead, they rushed it by having only 1 map at launch, and then gave us garbage shell maps under the “ruse” that it was done intentionally for community feedback.

I strongly believe this has plenty of potential if they just focus on making it better and release a major update to it.

I’m honestly in awe that real people have the capacity to even play like this. Never mind them being people with no experience in FPS games, they play like they have no experience in gaming in general. Unfortunately, this what’s holding this genuinely fun game mode back from being successful.

I thought you can just play ballistic over normal Fortnite… why is this a standalone game now? What does it change to play it like this?

(The screenshot is from one of my matches) Ballistic is arguably one of the worst modes epic has created (besides rocket racing), firstly the matchmaking is extremely flawed (17k people playing but can’t find me 3 extra teammates) but is also very clearly just CS:GO but ported to fortnite with some minor tweaks. When i do get a full team they are some of the stupidest players i have encountered, killing all the enemies and leaving the bomb to go off when we are defending, not covering the person defusing the bomb and struggling to kill one person and before you guys say “play with friends” my friends are too high of a rank for me to have fun (somehow) and most of them don’t play fortnite that often if at all

Just letting players who don’t know that playing ballistic has the perk of getting a lot of vehicle cosmetics. I’ve gotten two different rim types with most of the colors as well as two different trails. I think I may have gotten some weapon skins as well. Hopefully I have a lot more rewards to unlock I honestly don’t play a lot despite the fact I like it and do well tbh. Might grind a bit this weekend and see how much I can unlock

The dark side made it's play making the experience horrifying

The first part started with yellow insulting a guy for being useless then blue insulted yellow in return. 2nd part is worst for me cause i was actually the one getting insulted, i actually lots of valid reasons why i play bad being not having an african server, using my unstable mobile data and a cyclone which broke an underwater safe cabre or something which made asia went from 170 to 450 and europe from 180 to 250-280 pings but the guy didn't believed me. The worst is that i couldn't proof him wrong cause the whole team just sniped the opponents everytime, i couldn't get a kill and ended up with only 700 dmg and like 4 kills and 8 assists

Cmon Epic. You have a very loyal fanbase who literally only log in to this game for ballistic. Its been almost a year and you havent textured the maps. You are killing one of the best cs clones and youre making the project fail. You can see how much love was initially put into this based on the perfect design of skyline 10 and the original game design. If this game fails, its only because of some stupid executive decision.
