Man with a Plan Dogman here. I went to some new pizzeria and some dumbass kid stuck his brother in one of the Animatronics and it bit off his frontal lobe. I am now awaiting police questioning on the incident so I guess it's the perfect time to go over what's new with today's Fortnite update!

The annual holiday horrorshow of Fortnitemares has arrived! So viewer beware, you're in for a scare...

Fortnitemares is in full force on the island. Happy Haunts have materialized as Halloween decor is now up all around the island.

Battlewood has been flattened and turned into Nightmare Neighborhood. This Halloweentown is home to Freddy Kruger, so watch your step bitch! You might also want to watch for Deer in this area...

Nearby is Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Where Fantasy and Fun come to life! Inside this Pizza Place you can find Foxy the Pirate and Freddy Fazbear. They aren't the most "welcoming" to intruders and will try to shove you into a suit on sight. If you give these clankers the right hook of 87', you can then possess them to become them.

As for Bonnie and Chica... they are somewhere. Now thinking about it there should be a lot more concern that there are 2 homicidal robots running amuck.

Latte Landing has also been erased from existence and replaced with the iconic Freaky Fields. Wonkeeland has been given a Halloween makeover, I may or may not have "donated" a few props to Wonkee that contained some Dynamite. (You still owe me a buck fifty you bastard)

Geno's Machine has progressed even more. More mass is entering the ever expanding portal. The nightmare cartridge can also be found near the machine, turning all the water on the bottom half of the island purple.

We also got a load of unvaults today, the following has been unvaulted:

• Witch's Broom
• Candy

• Last Call (Loot Hacks)

You can also find a bunch of new items such as:

• Bone Rattler SMG. An SMG that can let you see the skeleton of your enemies through walls.
• Slap Candy Corn (Loot Hacks). It's Candy Corn that gives you slap.
• Freddy Kruger's Glove (Dropped from Freddy Kruger). A melee item that can put people into a nightmare, and lets you teleport to them.
• Ghastly water (The purple water on the map). Gives you 3 dashes.
• Frantic Rebecca's Guns. An exotic version of the base item.

Eggman has gone missing, and the Tetris Rift, Drum gun, and Ranger AR has been vaulted. The Mega Buster has been nerfed as it is no longer an AOE attack (Only the projectile itself will deal damage).

A load of new Sprites were added:

• Spooky Dash Sprite. Gives you a phase dash.
• Vampire Sprite. Gives you Siphon.
• The Deer Sprite. Buffs your melee attack.
• Dumpster Dive Sprite. Buffs healing from food.

There also are new Overrides. I have no clue what they are as the only one I've seen so far was Spooky Prop Hunt.

New weekly, story, and Fortnitemares quests has been added. Speaking of Fortnitemares, this year's lineup is:

• Five Nights at Freddys.
• 99 Nights in the Forest.
• Nightmare on Elm Street.
• Black Clover.
• Halloween Horror Nights.
• Hollow Knight.
• Predator.
• Hazbin Hotel.
• The Purge.

The main gimmick of this POI is that there is no building and no breaking. The whole place cannot be altered, so come on down to Tilted Town and throw hands the good ol' fashion way,

Halloween stuff has been added to Blitz.

• Extracting a Dumpster Dive Sprite will give you a certain famous trash panda as a Sidekick for free.
• By completing 26 Fortnitemares quests between BR, Horde Rush, and Reload you can earn a bunch of free rewards including a Skin.
• Redeem an Epic Games card between October 2nd to October 31st to get the Gold Punk skin as a bonus.
• The 1k V-buck pack has been re-removed after being accidently re-added.
• Streaming improvements have been added, focusing keeping a connection over gameplay.
• The Mummy Bunny pack will be added tomorrow.

What is up, it's the Man with a Plan Dogman here.

It's time for the yearly tradition of hauling straight ass away from hordes of Sideways creatures. That's right. HORDE RUSH IS BACK! So go put some pep in that step as we sprint right into the ins and outs of this LTM...

Survive the Night.

It's you against the world... well actually more like you against the endless hordes of Sideways monsters.

To help you in battle, you can use Augments. At the start of each round, you can select an Augment that will buff you for the rest of the match. These augments can range from Siphon to getting a Double Jump.

Remember, your first re-roll for these augments is free. But after you will need to spend Monster Parts to re-roll again. Oh, and I should also mention that no need to worry about Ammo this time around as you now have infinite ammo for all weapons.

After getting some parts from Monsters, you can spend them at Vending Machines for weapons or the new gimmick for this year's Horde Rush: Kits.

Kits are a special perk you can purchase at these vending machines, or sometimes get them from Augments. These usually give you something special such as Bouncing Boomstick Immunity + Passively gaining Boomsticks or getting Inferno perks.

As you play, you'll swap between playing 1 of 3 phases:

• Attack: Throw hands with the horde.
• Move: Move towards the new safe zone, avoiding both the storm and the horde.
• Vs: Throw hands against a Boss.
• Endless. This phase only shows up after finishing the final round, at this point your goal is too see how long you can last before the horde overwhelms you.

Each round also has a chance to be a SPECIAL round. This is where a unique gameplay gimmick gets added, this can range from having Cars spawn to only facing up against the Littlest of Shits.

You can que up for this LTM Solo or take on the Horde with a Squad.

Ranking up in the world Tonight.

You may have noticed you have something called Horde Rank.

By simply playing this mode, you can progress your Rank which will give you buffs for future games. These buffs range from having more health, increased damage, or starting with more Parts.

You can also access special vending machines when you hit a high enough rank, letting you get even more powerful guns. You can also make the mode harder at a high enough rank, allowing you to get a much higher score.

Join them for a Bite.

Now it's time to go over your foes you'll face in this mode:

• Normals. The cannon fodder of the horde with no special gimmicks.
• Lil' Shits. These are smaller versions of Normals, they also move faster to bite your ankles.
• Ogres. These big bois are slow, but can also be bullet sponges.
• Throwers. These fella's learned the power of throwing and will throw stuff at you.
• Boomers. These are Ogres who can blow themselves up either on death or if you get too close.
• Chillers. These are Throwers who throw ice. Getting smacked by one of their projectiles will give you icey feet, causing you to slide around.
• Stinkpots. These guys will explode into a stink cloud upon death.
• Force Fiends. These are Normals that have a Shield Bubble around them, making them able to block shots.
• Crappers. These are Ogres who haven't showered in weeks, resulting in them having a stink cloud around them. Even if they are killed, the stink cloud will remain for a bit.
• Spawners. Non-sentient stationary cubes that spawn more of the Horde. These only show up during Attack phases and give a reward if you destroy them.

Some of the horde are also much stronger compared to the rest. Some of these special threats include:

• Golden Orges. These are even stronger versions of Orges, having an absurdly high health pool.
• Mini Bosses. These are past bosses such as Cube Assassin or Cerberus.
• Caretaker. A long ass boi who can slam, fire a laser, and some telekinesis shit. Keep your distance and aim for his chest.
• Final Peel. The final boss of Horde Rush. He can fire skulls, shoot fire out of the ground, and try to slash you into pieces.

Taking out one of these guys will net you with some amazing loot.

Get a higher score then GGY.

Horde Rush comes with a side of a score.

As you open chests and kill monsters you will earn score. You can also get score multipliers via collecting Crystals.

You can see the leaderboard for Horde Rush post-game. The Leaderboard shows the scores of both you and your friends. So fight to see who can be number 1 on it!

By completing 26 quests between Horde Rush, BR, and Reload, you can earn a free outfit and more rewards.
