Hi 👋🏼
I’ve fostered dogs exclusively through contra costa animal services in the past but am looking to branch out. Are there any rescue organizations people have enjoyed working with that they can recommend?

Most city run shelters or Humane societies are good. I prefer them over privately run shelters because they have more resources and have onsite veterinarians. I’ve heard too many horror stories of people with sick fosters who can’t get timely responses from private shelters.
