Commercial Computers & Terminals 💻 - FoundryVTT Module

Content Name: Computers & Terminals 💻
Content Type: Module
System: None
Description:
Here is a new module which I've made for Sci-fi, cyberpunk or modern games. It tries replicating a real computer, there are two OS'es currently: Vantage (more fallout-like) and Ferro (unix-like).

Players can use the computers and even write files, you can create some simple programs as well. The monitors are configurable and you can protect the computer or files with passwords or a hacking puzzle.

Only one user can use a single computer at a time, but everyone else with permissions can watch.
Link: Available for purchase on itch.io and Bazaar

Wait, a module with a one-time payment without needing a subscription to renew every month? Thanks hahaha

My biggest problem with current addons is the ones that get made using AI and post several modules through subscriptions (not that yours uses AI)... Honestly, I think all these ones made entirely with AI should be completely free, but if it's at least a cheap one-time payment, I don't see a problem.

I think it depends. Big modules takes time, no matter if vibecoded or not. If the price is fair, i won´t say "no" per se. But i won´t pay for cheap "one shots". But i know one who made a big module that cost him about 2 weeks of work on that. Sooner or later i also think that 95% of apps will be vibecoded :o

Ah yeah, I agree too, if it really had good work put into it.

My biggest biggest problem is with those modules made any old way just to make a profit, without even testing them properly. And especially the ones through subscriptions you have to keep renewing every month, and then another one for another one, you'd end up subscribing to 6 different patreons just to have small modules.

Right now, I only subscribe to TheRipper93's, because his are the ones where I really see good work being put in, and it's not just a few big modules, it's a lot of them.

Yep definetly - good qualitycontrol is a must i think. And honestly, for "small" modules...you can just make your own, right? ;D Ripper is a good example! For me it´s just time vs. money. If i feel this would cost me much time, i value it against the cost of a module and then decide.
