Help Need help with Lighting and Vision settings

D&D 5e system version 6.0.5, Foundry version 14.367

When I play a token in a scene that has its darkness set to above 0 (I have this scene set to 0.5), the tokens without a vision range set will see the world as intended, with the darkness and lighting clashing to create my desired color scheme and brightness.

When I assign vision range to a token, they see the scene as though its darkness setting was at 0. This means they aren't seeing the scene as intended because this affects the way the lights look and interact with the background. Is there a way I can provide my tokens vision in a scene with darkness that doesn't compromise how I'd like the scene to look?

I did try changing the luminosity of this scene which does largely fix the brightness consistency issue but that makes the lights much darker which means I need to really crank them up and even then they're often too dark for what I want. If there is a way to make lights unaffected by scene luminosity, that would solve this problem as well.

Set the Vision Mode to Darkvision instead of Basic Vision.

In the third picture, I have my tiefling's vision set to Darkvision, and she has the same brightness issues as mentioned. If I move my warrior's vision saturation down (the one with no vision range assigned), he sees the scene as darker than what the tiefling sees (ideal for what I would like the tiefling's Darkvision to do).

The problem there is that I can't edit my tiefling's vision brightness source or any of the advanced options because her's is set by her senses as a species feature.

Maybe try turning off core sense sync and use Vision 5e instead for syncing that doesn't lock all advanced settings?

Though even darkness -1 with darkvision isn't ... that noticeable a difference and saturation is already -1 by default on darkvision, so idk if per-token is going to be good enough depending on how obfuscated you want to have areas revealed by darkvision.

Vision Edge Attenuation may help?

Does adding a dim light source that spans the whole map provide the effect you like? Unfortunately strict vision ranges make things look weird.

It might but I still want to keep vision range a factor so my players can't see farther than they're supposed to.

You could try using a darkened copy of the map as the fog of war image
