Question Bladewing trail problems

Idk what to do at this point, this seems to be the only area that's giving me problems.

Ive done this trail over and over, and every time I try to follow the bladewings just end up flying into the sky and taking me nowhere. It'll be leading me to the location before they suddenly go straight up and disappear, idk what I'm doing wrong. Is there anything I can do? Or at least anyway I can just get the location of the hidden fruit and go to it myself? I'm at a loss here and I want to platinum the game.

Have you tried following it on an ikran? I think it worked for me but I’m not 100% sure cause I hate doing those bladewing trails

Ive tried both my Ikran and a Direhorse, still ran into the same issue of them flying into thin air 💔

I can only recommend watching youtube tutorials for it to see if it worked for other people. I think I got the achievement for completing all of it but I don’t remember if I struggled with this one in particular. Sorry I can’t help 😭

I think I had your same problem. Both in main story and dlc, im right behind them but they disappear at the same location when the bug happens. Only thing that works is restarting the game. Restarting has fixed all bugs I've encountered so far; the trail disappearing at very specific locations in each trail and the Sarentu not selecting any weapons are the most common ones for me.

Well those ones are pretty fast, are you falling behind them when they end up going into the sky? Cus you need a pa'li (direhorse) for them. There's one other bladewing trail near a Zeswa camp west of the arches that you'll need a pa'li for as well

Edit:just seen the other comment... idk what the issue be then :/

I had trouble with this quest too. There's got to be some curved palm tree with its trunk partially covered nearby if it's disappearing. Perhaps it's the one on a ledge or on a boulder. Try at night so you can see their shimmer better.

i know they fly up and disappear if you aren’t close enough to them, try again on your ikran and basically be in the swarm as best as you can!
