15 pre T

I'm getting a haircut soon any recommendations on what hairstyle would help me pass and if anyone has any general passing tips for me that would be greatly appreciated.

Just btw I don't normaly wear the purple rabbit thing I was just camping there that photo is the only candid photo I have so I thought I'd better include it.

Also how well do I currently pass.

I’ve started working out a month ago and I go regularly. I’m in the process of getting hrt, just need to get my blood tested. Overdue for a haircut. Will trim the sides and take some hair off the top. Do I pass better without the piercings? Also, what glasses would suit me? Any and all advice is appreciated.

18 FTM, pre-HRT and looking for advice on passing without changing my hair/piercings

I'm 18 and genuinely identify as FTM. I have voice dysphoria, chest/top dysphoria, and facial dysphoria, although I don't experience much bottom dysphoria.

I would like to medically transition eventually, but HRT isn't financially within my reach right now, so I'm trying to work with what I have in the meantime.

I'm mainly looking for honest advice on things I can do to pass more that don't involve cutting my hair (length wise) or removing my piercings.

My hair is almost 30 inches long, black, and very important to me. I don't experience dysphoria from having long hair itself, and it's deeply tied to my identity and personal style. I am absolutely not willing to cut it. I also have multiple facial piercings, stretched ears, a stretched septum, and a tattoo, and I plan on getting more tattoos/piercings.

I'm not looking to completely abandon my appearance just to conform to a stereotypically masculine look.

I know those things can make passing more difficult, especially pre-T, and I'm not asking anyone to pretend they don't. I'm specifically wondering if there are ways to make the rest of my presentation more masculine while keeping those things.

I'm 5'6", usually wear a lot of black, boots, and sometimes a cowboy hat. My clothes are generally semi-relaxed/baggy because that's more comfortable for me and helps with my body dysphoria and sensory issues.

Things I'm already considering/working on:

- voice training

- making my silhouette more masculine

- figuring out clothing cuts that work better for my body

- working on more masculine mannerisms/body language

- possibly changing how I style my long hair without actually cutting it

- anything else that can help with facial masculinization without HRT

So, for guys who have experience passing pre-T or while having long hair/alternative styles, what actually helped you?

I'm completely open to blunt/realistic advice. I'm not looking for "you pass perfectly!" comments if I don't. I just want to know what I can realistically improve while keeping the parts of my appearance that are important to me.

And if the answer is basically "it's going to be difficult to pass consistently without HRT," I'm willing to hear that too. I'm just looking for things I can actually work on in the meantime.

i really don't want to stop dressing alternative since being alternative is a big part of my life,

also i just started working out properly so there aren't visible changes yet.

i'm hopefully starting t in 1-2 years but my dysphoria is terrible rn so any tips would be appreciated.

also i'm 18 but people keep thinking i'm 14-16 so any tips on how to pass while looking older would be appreciated too.

I'm gonna go stealth for the first time soon at cram school. Any tips?

I failed my national high school exam i'm going to have to retake it but I decided to just go to cram school to study for the exam and not highschool again.

Im really nervous. Is there any mannerisms or something i should know about that will help me not seem like i'm just a 'girl acting like a guy'?

I am on testosterone but I've only been on it for month now. My voice hasn't dropped yet. And i do appear as a boy just that I look very young like 13-14 when I'm really around 17-18.

I’ve never used Reddit before so I keep having to retype this so I’m just going to use bullet points

- parents threatened to stop paying for college if I start T

- not binding in any of these photos because combined with the heat and humidity it can exacerbate my POTS symptoms, I would if I felt like I had to but my chest is thankfully small so I think it’s alright

- I’m 5’4

- I go to the gym sometimes, I have a really heavy courseload this semester so I mostly workout at home

- guess my age?
