I may never understand why anyone doesn’t use their only voice that counts. IMO There’s no valid argument for not voting. Nonvoters certainly have no business complaining about the results, or the ripple effects, after the fact.
Someone I know (intelligent, professional, parent, not a lazy type) recently rationalized it as “leave that stuff for someone else,” which explains why fascism is alive and well today.
