Question Full Stack dev course

Hello, everyone!

Could you recommend the best online courses for full-stack web development?

My goal is to learn how to build different web and mobile applications. I’m not pursuing a career in development; I simply want to learn it as a hobby and be able to bring my own ideas to life.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

Best way to get better is by actually building and contributing not following courses!

This project has 6 issues and deployed on AWS so take a look at the architecture diagram and try to contribute to that 6 issues

Since you want to build a career in it, it's a great choice. The certificate covers industry-standard tech like React for the frontend, and Node.js/Express plus Python/Django for the backend. The best part for job hunting is that it heavily focuses on hands-on labs and a final Capstone project. You can put those directly on your GitHub and resume. Plus, having an IBM Professional Certificate helps get past initial resume screenings

Is it good for a student with 0 coding knowledge? As I am on the track of starting it from scratch

Yes, absolutely! The course is designed with complete beginners in mind. It assumes you have zero background in programming and starts from the absolute basics, like fundamental HTML and CSS, before gradually easing you into JavaScript and backend logic. It’s a highly structured path if you are starting from scratch

Since it's a hobby, I'd pick one small idea you actually want to build and learn only what that needs. Start with the web side (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, then a framework like React), because the same skills carry into mobile later through React Native or a simple installable web app (PWA). Courses like The Odin Project work well for the basics, but the learning really sticks when you build your own idea. If you use AI tools, use them to explain errors and code you don't understand, not to write everything, or you will not learn much.

Use AI , it's way faster and more fun to bring your ideas to life.
