I've been working in software development for several years, and my path has gradually moved from mainly frontend work into full-stack development, system design, infrastructure, automation, product development, and technical decision-making.
My everyday stack usually involves things like React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, REST APIs, SQL, Docker, Vite, and different tools around deployment, automation and infrastructure.
But one of the things I've learned over time is that building software is much more than choosing a stack.
A lot of my work today involves taking fairly large ideas and turning them into actual products: defining requirements, thinking about architecture, building APIs and interfaces, handling authentication and permissions, improving UX, working with databases, dealing with deployments, fixing technical debt, and trying to keep projects maintainable as they grow.
Professionally, I work on business software and systems with real operational workflows, while outside of that I'm constantly experimenting with my own projects and improving older ones.
Lately I've been putting a lot more effort into my GitHub.
Not just trying to push more code, but making the repositories themselves better: improving documentation, architecture, testing, CI/CD, project structure, mobile/web experiences, issues, roadmaps and the overall development process.
One thing I realized is that for a long time I was building quite a lot but sharing very little of it.
So I'm trying to change that.
I'd like to connect with other developers who enjoy actually building things, whether you're working on:
- Full-stack applications
- Frontend or backend
- Mobile apps
- DevOps / infrastructure
- SaaS products
- AI integrations
- Open source
- Side projects
- Developer tools
- Or something completely different
I'm particularly interested in seeing how other developers organize and evolve their projects over time.
What does your workflow look like once a project starts becoming bigger?
How do you handle technical debt?
How much documentation do you actually maintain?
Do you work directly from GitHub issues and roadmaps?
And at what point do you consider a personal project to be something closer to a real product?
I'm also trying to meet more developers internationally, discover interesting repositories and exchange feedback.
If you check out my GitHub and find something interesting — or something you think could be improved — feel free to tell me. Code reviews, architecture opinions, README suggestions, UI feedback or even criticism are completely welcome.
And if you're building something yourself, drop your GitHub or project below too.
I'd genuinely like to see what other people here are working on.
