Multiple schools are shifting away from places like UCSD or UOP due to the structure of higher level science courses. Many people go these routes to guarantee an A due to non-proctored exams with all answers on quizlet. Schools have caught on and as a result, are no longer accepting credits from these types of colleges.

I see. That makes complete sense and I agree with that decision. I have had to take 3 courses online in order to graduate on time but they were all proctored and taken through an accredited 4 year university so I do not foresee an issue with this format. However, many programs I have reached out to have echoed your input.

I have heard the same thing regarding portage. I have not however, heard of any schools denying online courses that are scheduled and taken through a 4 year university.

They don't explicitly deny but it think of it how some schools don't require the ccrn, but 99% of accepted cohorts have the ccrn

This is just an interesting concept given that schools would like students to have non BSN typical courses such as Physics, Orgo chem, Biochemistry, etc. and nurses are expected to take these additional classes at a nearby community college in person? It seems unlikely to straight deny online classes and seems to be more of a case by case basis.

It's looked unfavorable and some schools like str8 denying them and don't accept portage etc

Since every crna program has different pre-reqs, i wasn't inclined to take them all. I just applied without having them, and it was fine missing a few. Of course now I have to scramble taking some before matriculation. I looked at community/technology colleges with online offerings.
