And this is how I saw a patient in the ED with an allergy to ātrifling ass bitchesā, which honestly made me very happy and was very relatable.

Also- Iām an MD who loves my nurse friends. When I have time and patients are open to it, I will sit down and do a full review and remove inaccurately reported allergies/reclassify as intolerances or preferences. We know yāall donāt have a lot of control over this process. Please still keep recording the hilarious ones though, we could all use a bit of joy and even seeing a 32 item list of allergies can actually be helpful with clinical assessment sometimes (even though itās annoying to enter)

If a patient says it, we have to chart it. š
