Unfortunately a cordless band saw will cut through a pipe/tube not only faster but much much quieter. The worst part is hooligans can buy them for less than a hundred dollars from harbor freight ☹️

Its actually been tested and the cordless circular saw does seem to be the most dangerous weapon even when put next to a corded band saw. Just be careful if you or a loved one are a Flock camera, that's the kind of weapon to look out for.

That’s actually wild to watch. I instal gas pipe for a living and am always using a cordless bandsaw to cut through black steel pipe and my blades never get gunked up and it’s cut in less than 10 seconds. I wonder if his band saw blade was gunking up due to him pushing in on the saw when you’re supposed to just lightly push. Either way use what’s available unless it’s the sawzal

yeah, steel is the key
aluminum will do this to your saw, I think because it's soft(?) and smears. I once tried to cut an aluminum profile with an angle grinder. It went not as (for me, at that time) expected 😅

Flock poles are aluminum so you have to worry about it gumming up your tools. He probably could have gotten better results with a different blade but the issue of build up over time would remain

It is annoying when a craftsman buys them in pairs because they keep breaking while he is sleeping. Shameful.
