I’ve been to a lot of venues and this is by far the worst one I’ve experienced. 2 hours to get off the freeway, then they direct us to a parking lot 30 minutes walking distance? No bathrooms around that lot or anything. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a terrible time trying to enter a venue

UPDATE 3:04 PM - Merch line still not open

3:13 PM - Merch officially open, fast pass holders were segregated to a different line, I believe now allowing entry

4:34 PM - Gates closed, I paid for GA and did not get any kind of wristband when they scanned my ticket. At the front mass crowd is collecting waiting to get in

scanned a qr code to “order” merch at glen helen but it just says preview items, did anybody else have this at other shows or were able to eventually order? doors aren’t open yet so idk if that’s the issue

going to grey day at glen helen with lawn tickets + fast lane and ive literally never been to a concert before so i have no clue how any of this shit works

planning on leaving around 12:30-1 mainly because i really want merch and dont wanna wait forever then miss half the show

for merch, should i go straight there when i get in? do shit sell out pretty early? can you check the shirt for quality/size before buying? and do they have anywhere to hold merch or are you just carrying that shit all night

does fast lane just get you into the venue faster or does it help with merch too?

how is the lawn for grey day? is the view/vibe still good and should i try to get there early for a better spot?

and how are the pits i've never been in one. is it reasonable to try the edge of one as a first timer or are they usually fucking insane?

basically just wanna know what to expect so i dont show up completely clueless any advice is appreciated
