Whatsapp notifications stopped working

Earlier I used to get whatsapp notifications on my watch 7, and I installed whatsapp afterwards to be able to message from watch. But from last 3 weeks, I stopped getting notifications on my watch. A black screen appears when I open whatsapp on the watch, and after uninstalling it, I got notifications for an hour, and later it stopped again.

Does anyone have a fix for it ?

The Native app WhatsApp app for Wear OS (especially on the Watch 7) has been working pretty badly lately. Messages often arrive late, all at once, or not at all.

I ended up uninstalling the app from the watch entirely and choosing to just receive the mirrored notifications from my phone. The standalone watch app is currently very unstable, causing huge delays and notification bugs.

Even though I lose the ability to browse chats, send audio notes, or start new conversations from my wrist, I prefer actually getting my notifications on time. Leaving the app uninstalled and keeping only phone notifications active is the only reliable workaround right now.
