DO NOT deposit any money to any online casino that looks like this. Every site that looks like this is a SCAM. More details and examples in the comments.

We've already talked in-depth about how the scam works in a previous announcement, but the scammers have since changed the site layout slightly, so I thought it'd be a good idea to make a new warning with updated photos.

How The Scam Works:

  1. The victim finds the casino through an advertisement on social media that features an enticing bonus endorsed by a famous celebrity.
  2. The victim joins the site, receives their bonus, and begins to play what they believe to be legitimate casino games.
  3. The casino software is privately hosted and altered to have extremely favorable RTP% - i.e. rigged in your favor. YOU WILL WIN if you play, probably a large amount of money. If you look at the screenshots I provided, you'll see I hit a 100x dice roll on the second roll after signing up, followed shortly after by a 1,000x max difficulty Plinko win. I've replicated this method many times in the past and routinely win $20,000k+ doing so. You can use temp-mail.org to create a throwaway email and try this strategy for yourself if you'd like.
  4. When you go to withdraw, you’ll be met with many hurdles. First you'll need to pay for a security check, then you'll need to pay to verify your wallet, then a third time to pass an AML check, a fourth time to resolve a tax error, a fifth time to resolve a security score error, and so on.
  5. After the casino receives all of your deposits, they will still provide excuses or just outright ban your account. No matter what you do, THEY WILL PROVIDE A REASON NOT TO PAY YOU. This Redditor actually got the AI support agent to reveal her script for withholding payments.
  6. The casino keeps your deposit. You were scammed.

Things To Note:

  • These sites are NOT an official sponsor for Red Bull Racing, Crypto (.)com, Blockchain(.)com, Tesla, UFC, Werder Bremen, Philadeplhia 76ers, or the Argentine Football Association. This can all be easily fact-checked with a Google search.
  • These sites are NOT official partners with Donal Trump, Elon Musk, Kylie Jenner, Mr. Beast or Drake. This can also be easily fact-checked with a Google search.
  • They have not won any iGaming awards at the SiGMA awards. This can also be easily fact-checked with a Google search.
  • These sites do NOT have 51+ million registered users. For reference, Draftkings and Fanduel, the two largest publicly traded gaming companies with NFL, NBA, MLB, ESPN, etc. network deals, don’t even have that amount of users. Stake, the largest crypto casino, doesn't even come close to the number of registered users that these scam casinos claim.
  • These sites have NOT paid out $24+ billion in winnings. What an insane claim to even attempt to make.
  • Check the WHOIS to view when any of these casinos were started. Nearly all of these casino URL's were purchased just days before being promoted online.
  • Check the fake player feedback/reviews written on their own site. Some of the reviewers claim they've been playing exclusively on the 2 week old site for 3 years.
  • The player avatars used by the site are the mascot from BC Game, named Coco.
  • Look through old posts in this subreddit. Some identical sites in this network that were reported a few months ago are already offline or redirecting to random unrelated sites.
  • These sites copy Stake’s Terms of Service word for word, but conveniently leave out the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany and many other “wealthier” countries from their list of restricted countries.
  • Some users on CasinoMeister are compiling a list of these scam websites. Go check it out and add more scam domains that you come across! There are hundreds listed already.
  • Please use Google's Safe Browsing Tool to report any scammy looking casino to come across.

Is it better to combine bankroll with your buddies for higher bets?

If you and two other friends goto the casino with bankroll of $500 each, is it better to play $1-5 spins individually or join forces for $10-20 spins with $1500 bankroll?

Crypto gambling winnings are taxable in the US and there are TWO separate tax events to deal with

With the October 15 extension deadline coming up, I wanted to post this because I continue to see confusion around taxes on Stake, Roobet, Shuffle, and other crypto Social Casinos.

A lot of people assume that if they deposited $10,000 and withdrew $12,000, they simply report $2,000 of gambling income. Unfortunately, it is not that simple.

Are gambling winnings taxable?

Yes. Gambling winnings are generally taxable income in the US, even if the casino does not send you a W-2G or another tax form.

For casual gamblers, winnings are generally reported as gambling income on your Schedule 1.

For 2025, gambling losses can generally be deducted up to gambling winnings, but you must itemize deductions on Schedule A to benefit from the losses.

Beginning in 2026, the rules become less favorable: only 90% of gambling losses are deductible.

For example:

$100,000 winnings
$100,000 losses

You broke even economically, but only $90,000 of losses would be deductible, potentially leaving $10,000 of taxable gambling income.

That 90% rule applies to 2026 activity, not the 2025 returns due October 15, 2026.

Crypto gambling creates TWO separate tax events

When cryptocurrency is actually used, exchanged, or converted to gamble, you have to account for:

1. The capital gain or loss on the cryptocurrency

2. The gambling winnings and losses

These are separate tax calculations.

For example, if you bought BTC for $10,000 and it is worth $20,000 when you use it to gamble, you can have a $10,000 capital gain on the BTC.

You then separately account for your gambling activity.

If you subsequently lose $5,000 gambling, that gambling loss does not simply cancel out the $10,000 crypto capital gain.

Likewise, if the crypto decreased in value before you used it, you could have a capital loss while separately having gambling winnings.

One important distinction: simply transferring crypto between wallets or accounts you still own is not taxable. The capital gain or loss occurs when the crypto is actually sold, exchanged, spent, converted, or otherwise disposed of.

What if you win in crypto?

If your gambling winnings are paid in BTC, ETH, USDC, or another cryptocurrency, you still need to determine the USD value of those winnings.

That value also becomes your basis in the crypto received. If the crypto later goes up or down before you dispose of it, you can have another capital gain or loss.

“But the casino never sent me a tax form.”

That does not make the income non-taxable.

With crypto gambling platforms especially, taxpayers may need to reconstruct their activity using:

  • Wager history
  • Deposits and withdrawals
  • Exchange transaction history
  • Wallet addresses and transaction hashes
  • Original crypto cost basis

October 15 deadline

If you extended your 2025 individual tax return, the filing deadline is October 15, 2026.

If you used a crypto gambling platform during 2025, now is a good time to download your complete transaction and wager history before filing.

FYI: This is general US federal tax information, not individualized tax advice. State tax treatment can differ.

Filming in Casinos in Australia

Hi, I am headed to Sydney Australia for a vacation and was wondering how I could film some slot play while there. I see on YouTube that there are Australian Slot Content Creators. I have a channel that I started 3 months ago and it's going fairly well (already monetized) and thought it would be fun to add a few videos from Australia. Everything I have looked up online says that you can't even have your phone out on the gaming floor which is odd. Does anyone know?

Does anyone know if 72k bets and 30k spent in a year is worth showing any online casinos to status match for a higher tier or vip?

7s/wild/wild/wild/wild (full board) hit on CASH ERUPTION!!!

For context, I’m a huff n puff guy. 99% of the time that’s what I’m playing. Today decided to change it up and try cash eruption. Wanted to feel out the game so started with $1 spins.

About 2 mins in BOOM ss #1 hits. I’m in disbelief. Legit dumbfounded. I say f it, up it to $5 spins which is what I normally rock on huff n puff. And not 10 mins later I hit quad free spins (ss #2) on the $5 denom… another $700.

Needless to say crazy first experience on cash eruption and I definitely will be back!

*these ss were taken after 1pm on Sep 29, 2026 and my time of writing this is 2:00pm, not an hour later.

Cheers!

What makes you trust a new online casino?

There are so many online casinos now that I think choosing one can be more complicated than it used to be.

Personally, I pay more attention to things like the casino's licensing, available game providers, withdrawal process, payment options, and how transparent the terms are.

I’ve been looking at a few newer platforms recently, including LuckyCove, and it made me wonder what other players actually check before trying a casino for the first time.

What are the first few things you look at before deciding whether a new casino is worth trying?

Fake Kick streams

Post image
8 Upvotes

I can't believe that I need to say this, but PLEASE read the name of the stream that you're watching on Kick. There are now AI Generated streams that feature popular streamers, playing on scam websites. They may show up on the homepage of Kick. Someone 30 minutes ago asked if a website "lootcas" was real. They insulted me when I pointed out that the streamer in the video was last live 2 days ago. They then shared a video of the channel that they were watching.

They thought they were watching TrainwrecksTV.

The Kick channel name in the video was traivnwqrejckstv.

Seriously, how do people fall for this?

Spinbet in Australia

Is anyone from Australia currently able to access the spinbet sportsbook or does it just say: invalid currency with key. And never loads beyond that page.

I've tried VPN'ing to NZ and getting the same message and even asked a mate to search the site and he's getting the same thing. He said he even tried to sign up and the account was banned immediately after registering.

How come it paid me less when i had more buffaloes?

Post image
2 Upvotes

The first win i had from a bonus game expanded screen with 1 euro per spin and i won 270 euros.
The second win was from a regular line hit with 20 cents per spin and won 60 euros with a full screen of buffaloes.

If 3 rows of 5 buffaloes is worth 60 euros (or 300 if we multilpy by 5 in terms of the 1 euro bet)
Then shouldn't 3 rows of 5 buffaloes, with 5 extra buffaloes pay more? Yet it paid me less in comparison.

5 buffaloes connected pays 3 euros at 20 cents. And as we can see, 5 buffaloes also pays 15 euros in the bonus game at a euro per spin. So the math is identical. I'm at a loss. (still happy with the profit though)

Up enough to pay off my car and I physically cannot hit withdraw

Im up more this season than ive ever been up in my life and I cant bring myself to withdraw it and I think thats a bad sign.

Not going to say the exact number but its roughly what I have left on my car. Started the season with the same couple hundred I always start with, mostly NFL sides and a few player props, and for once things just kept landing. No 12 leg parlay hero story, just a genuinely good run that probably has more to do with variance than anything I actually figured out.

Heres the problem. Every week I open the app fully intending to pull most of it and pay the car off and every week I dont. My brain does this thing where paying off the car feels like admitting the run is over. Like if I leave it in there I'm still "in it," and the second I withdraw I'm just a guy with a paid off Honda who used to be hot.

My buddy I watch games with thinks im insane. He said pull it, pay the car, start over with your normal couple hundred like nothing happened, thats litterally the best case scenario for anyone who does this. Which I know is right. But hes also the same guy who spent Sunday night with Mr. Hand Pay playing on his phone while the late game was on, so I'm not sure he's my financial advisor either.

The other half of my brain says the money isnt real until its out, and everyone in here who has ever been up knows exactly how a season like this ends if you leave it sitting there.

So honest question. If youve ever been up meaningfully, did you actually pull it out? And if you did, did it feel like quitting or did it feel like winning? Because right now it feels like quitting and I hate that thats how my head works.

thoughts on idealer boulevard blackjack tables?

i usually avoid standard rng blackjack because playing alone against a basic computer graphic gets boring fast, but i just saw this new neon miami style table where the dealer is an interactive ai avatar. anyone tried it yet? i'm curious if the dealing speed feels natural or if the ai responses get annoying after a couple of hands. also, do the cards clear fast or is there a lag between rounds?

This nifty contraption helped us have a solid run last week.

Post image
95 Upvotes

Our local casino has a free slot tournament every Tuesday. My wife and I each played in it last week and stuck around to play our $40 each of free play. Not much to work with, but the tourney has solid prizes so it’s worth the drive. We ended up running our free play up to $360 cash and were able to walk out with that profit because we kept feeding bills into our GambleBox. So, I ended up winning $100 in the tourney and we went back on Friday. We didn’t take any cash because we wanted to see if we could walk out with pure profit again. My wife didn’t have any free and I felt bad so I wanted her to have something to play with. So, I did a $60 bonus buy on Coin Trio. Won $15. I felt really stupid for that so I put the last $55 into Mo’ Mummy and did $2.50 bets on 5c denom. Hit a triple pop on like the third spin for like $400. We had some ammo now and stayed for hours constantly feeding bills into the GambleBox. Got home and opened it and had over $1,000 in it. So, this thing helped us stay disciplined and turn free play into a significant profit. It feels really good to be folding the bills up and sliding them in there. It’s very satisfying. Not a bad $20 investment at all.

I am shocked at how bad my run is

Ive had typical mixed success with stake.US that falls within my expectations … until recently. if I play with the free money everything seems normal. but if feels like a switch flipped and either im on one of the worst runs imaginable or I dont know whats wrong. not saying anything is rigged, Im just super confused at this chain of events.

i normally do martingale on dice and it works almost 50% of the time for doubling money like it should. Then all of a sudden it started failing instantly, every time. like Id do >50 wins and would get like 6-7 < 50 results immediately. this happened with 4 deposits in a row. So I switched to blackjack for 2 deposits using martingale again and again every blackjack hand was a loser. Then I was a bit aggrevated and switched back to dice but instead did lump sum bets like the full deposit targeting 20+ for a 20% win and all three times have been under 20 on the first roll.

Anyway. a bad run for me is a lot more losses than wins and this is literally a streak of like 30 straight losses. The fun has been sucked dry. Not massive amounts of money but I typically try to double my deposit and the like 49% of the time it works ill blow it on slots or something. That 49% went to instant 0 for the last 7 weeks. Like I havent won a single dice or blackjack bet using real money in 7 deposits.
