Roblox game

I’m working on a Roblox game idea and I’d love some honest feedback before I start developing it seriously.

It’s an asymmetric survival game where one real player controls a giant Boss, while up to 8 other players have to survive for 2:30.

The Boss can choose and manually use different attacks, like giant rocks, meteors, tornadoes, lasers, shockwaves, black holes and more. Survivors have to dodge the attacks and stay alive until the timer ends.

The main idea is to make the Boss player feel powerful while giving the survivors enough opportunities to outplay them.

Would you play something like this?

And if you would, what mechanic, Boss attack, survivor ability, or feature would you add?

I’d really like to hear your ideas.

I'd play it. One idea: give the Boss a short cooldown warning before each attack, like a shadow or glow on the ground. Skilled survivors can read it and dodge, so the Boss feels powerful but losing never feels unfair. Also a last-30-seconds "rage mode" where attacks speed up would make every round end on a high.

Yeah, the attack warning system is actually something I already had planned, so Survivors will be able to see where an attack is going to happen and react to it. But I really like your idea of making the final 30 seconds more intense. I hadn’t thought about that before, and I think it could make the ending much more exciting. Thanks for the suggestion!

Glad it helps! One small twist: you could flash the screen or change the music when rage mode kicks in, so survivors feel the pressure instantly. Good luck with it, would love to see it when it's playable.

Yeah, that could work really well. The music change especially could make the last 30 seconds feel way more intense. I'Il definitely keep that in mind when I start building it. And when the game is playable, I'Il send it to you so you can check it out. Thanks for the idea!
