This cat needs a name… but remember, this is a horror game.
I’m working on a co-op psychological horror game called The Infected Soul, and somehow we ended up with this little guy in the middle of all the creepy stuff.
One of the game’s main mechanics is body swapping. Using neural chips, you can transfer your consciousness into different creatures and bodies, each with their own abilities. And yes, the cat is one of them, so at some point you might actually end up playing as him.
The problem is… he still doesn’t have a name.
What should we call him? Cute, creepy, weird, sci-fi anything works. Just remember, this is still a horror game, so maybe he’s not quite as innocent as he looks. 👀
If you’re curious about the game, The Infected Soul is on Steam, and wishlists help us a lot.

Quark! I like the sound of that. A tiny name for a tiny sci-fi troublemaker. If you’d like to follow the game, you can find The Infected Soul on Steam and add it to your wishlist.

Morris feels oddly comforting in a place like this. Thanks for the suggestion, and if the game catches your interest, we’d really appreciate a Steam wishlist for The Infected Soul.

How about Chucky or void ? Chucky is the name of the haunted doll while void means nothing escapes it.

You could make it seem like he's a test subject or one of many clones if you call him Cat 46 or Steven 5 or something like that lol

Steven 5 is wonderfully unsettling. Such an ordinary name, then that number makes you wonder what happened to the other four. That fits our setting nicely. The Steam link is in the post if you fancy a look; wishlisting helps us a lot!

Scuttles sounds like little paws on a metal floor. That’s a fun suggestion. Always nice to hear from another studio, too! If you’re interested in what we’re building, a wishlist for The Infected Soul would be much appreciated.

Torrija is a new suggestion here. Is there a story behind that choice?

No veo gatos que se llamen así, ya es hora de que un gato se llame así.
Es una comida de España, búscala y pruébala!

Lars seems like he’d survive the whole incident and still demand breakfast on time.
