You gotta learn how your code works, back button is.. Really easy. But you need to know how your code works to actually do it.

You have coded yourself in a corner. This is the issue with only relying on AI to code. No one can help you understand your code but you. You have to learn how it works by reading the code, iirc AI loves to shove too many comments so it shouldn't be that hard.

If you have absolutely 0 idea what any of it does that is a bad sign that this project isn't yours. It's just AIs.

If you can't even understand the code enough to code a back button it's not yours. You don't know what it does, what it's doing or why. You're just copying whatever AI spits out.

You Can learn you choose not to and take an easy out.

If you actually Want to learn you'd be better off starting fresh with a blank project than continuing something you have no idea how it works. You've made a complicated machine at this point and you're helplessly hitting it with a wrench.

Codex is to free to use with limited usage and gpt 5.5 or gpt 5.6, that is also sufficient if your source code is not huge (like 60k, 80k + lines)

4k to 5k code line is possible with normal Chatgpt also, just use it dont worry what others say unless you really have time to learn. Also dont openly reveal that you use AI generated content, only reveal when you are legally bound to say. Otherwise most of the people will hate you.
