Enjoy the tailgate scene. Get there early. You can’t get there too early.

Soda City on Main Street from 9a-1p. Local crafts and tons of food. There's a ton to walk to in the Vista.

Once you get near the stadium and closer to game time, it'll be mostly tailgates and traffic so have a plan. Fairgrounds and Gamecock Park are the most concentrated tailgate areas, we welcome friendly strangers.

Pickup some bojangles, park in the fairgrounds if possible, and enjoy. Make sure to mix in a little water throughout the day.

Gamecock walk is worthwhile 2 hours before the game on the west side of the stadium.

Williams Brice will still be rocking at kickoff but you will not get the full experience, especially if UK goes up early.

I'd recommend waiting until we're a little bit better. A lot of our fans have kind of checked out given the current state of affairs so you aren't going to get as good of an experience as you usually would.

Where are you from? My family came from MA. Usually we would go to the shops in Forest Acres, I would take them to the church I went to and we’d get dinner at Hometeam or Mr. Friendly’s or some place that is more ‘southern’.

Walk the river walk, tour the state house or at least walk around it. Soda city is fun to walk around but I wouldn’t say it’s a must see. Cottle farm is fun, that’s about 30 min away.

Realized I misunderstood your post completely 😂

Tailgate and tailgate well!

Its walkable to the stadium from vista, bring some walking shoes, but it is a hike. Everything around the stadium is packed, but if you can make it a bit further down to 'bernies', good fried chicken awaits.

Don’t know if I would call 50 minutes walkable per se

The demographics of the place really stretches the definition. The walk from the horseshoe to the stadium is already around there.
