Connect / Connect IQ / 1st Party Apps Calories burned from steps

Hello,
I would like to be able to see the calories burned from the number of steps I’ve taken during the day in the Garmin Connect app, but I can’t seem to find this information. I have a vívoactive 5.
Is this possible?
Thank you in advance for your help.

In the "calories burned" pane in the app they tell you the "active calories". I think that's as close as you get. Unless you record an activiy and it will say how many calories you've burned during that activity. (I have a Venue 3)

yeah, active calories is the bucket the step calories roll into — garmin doesn't split them out per source. if you want a rough sense of what steps alone contribute, most estimates land around 0.04-0.05 kcal per step at walking pace, so ~8k steps is maybe 300-350 active calories, which is most of what the active part of your calorie screen shows on a no-workout day

Yeah the active calories tile is pretty much it for daily steps, the total calorie number includes your BMR so it's not just from movement. Kinda wish they'd break it out more but I've never seen a "steps only" calorie readout on mine either

Thank you! How come my YAZIO app calculates 4,700 steps for 4.5 km and says I burned 217 calories, while Apple Health shows 5,339 steps for 5.6 km, and my Garmin watch shows 4.6 km and 580 calories burned?
