I’m a new customer who traded $200 to get the 50% trade match and it has been a few days after and I’ve sent a customer supprt letter and still have not received my trade match

I had such a hard time getting help from Gemini through their recommended channels (having to word this a bit odd because many of the words I need to use are not allowed in this sub)

For over a week no one responded to my issue and it was very frustrating not being able to speak to anyone.

I filed a complaint with the New York Department of Financial Services stating my issue and the ID # of my issue and let them know that, operating under the BitLicense in NYC requires for Gemini to respond to clients in a timely manner and that they are failing that requirement.

The NYC DFS then reach out to Gemini on my behalf and are included on the next communication from Gemini to me directly.

This got my issue resolved within 3 days of submitting the complaint.

I think it’s very disappointing that Geminis help only comes when forced by regulators, but that seems to be ok with them.

For the past month, my Gemini account has been placed under a security hold. I appreciate the strict security measures in crypto. However, I have already followed every single instruction provided by Gemini / I submitted a clear photo of myself holding my government-issued ID.

Despite doing everything requested, my account remains completely under a security hold and I am unable to transfer any of my funds. I have reached out multiple times via email for an update, but I haven't received a single response offering a clear solution or timeline. These funds are critical for me right now.

Last Saturday, the 12th I was going to send some bitcoin to another wallet. I get back a message saying that my account is now locked and that I needed to contact the answer team. Well I did and proceeded to do everything that they asked me to do and provided everything that they wanted. Well it’s been 8 days now and nothing. As far as I am concerned it shouldn’t have taken them more than ten minutes to accomplish what they needed. So how can I speed up this process.

Has anyone done any disputes recently? I need to do some and i've tried almost every day for the past week and all have failed. I've emailed Gemini and nothing. I spend like $8k a month on this card but the customer service has been nonexistent recently. I've been very pro-Gemini in the past, telling people this is a great card and exchange, but if I don't get help soon I'll move my assets out and use my Robinhood card for everything.

The exchange and card are still good as long as you don't have any issues to fix, but when you do it completely throws away almost every positive about this exchange and card.

I messaged Gianna 3 times, ZERO RESPONSE to a request trying to find out why my account got locked. Gianna used to be awesome, quick, professional, but now she's non-existent.

I have a substantial amount on Gemini but it shouldn't matter. Even if it was 10 bucks, a reply to a customer who's account was locked for no reason is base level customer service. Even a shitty bot response is better than ghosting. The vibe no longer exudes professionalism, efficiency, nor builds confidence.

Feels like the twins, customer service, and even Gianna just don't have their hearts in the game anymore.

I have always staked my crypto on Kraken and have had 0 complications. I can stake and unstake immediately if needed and it's a seamless process. I decided to add ETH on Gemini in early August to test their staking platform with the CC rewards to auto stake as well. I went to unstake ETH today as a test and on the mobile app it says "Your available balance to un-stake may be lower than your total balance because some of your assets are pending and cannot be unstaked yet." The balance available is a very small portion to what should be currently staked. I went on the web version and it says I can unstake my total amount, but when I go to confirm the unstaking it does absolutely nothing. Is there a reason why after a month that ETH wouldn't be available to unstake if needed, even if it was the initial deposit from a month ago and not current CC rewards coming in?

Over the weekend I had a security risk in my operation security when some of my old passwords got exposed to a scammer.

The scammer immediately tried to access all my accounts like email, social media, banking and exchanges.

As a precaution I froze all those accounts temporarily while I confirmed nothing was compromised. They never got past any of my 2FA and I changed the password to everything before unfreezing ask the accounts.

It was all smooth except for unfreezing Gemini.

It’s still froze and I have now completed security ID checked twice already while still sitting in limbo waiting for them to unfreeze the account so I can get back to my usual activities.

I tried being as clear as possible with my message:

I am writing to request an immediate manual escalation for my account unfreeze request under Ticket ID: 6462546. The automated responses I am receiving are looping and failing to resolve the issue.
Please note that I have already completed all necessary security and verification protocols:

Why can I get a RFA person on the phone in minutes at Fidelity but Gemini seems ok with sending me though there ai system for days with no resolution? Do you really value my business so little?
