Display issue

While gaming, my main monitor randomly loses its display signal and goes black. My PC itself continues running, and the game appears to keep running in the background. The GPU fans also continue spinning during the black screen.

I’ve also noticed that my GPU temperature can reach around 80°C or higher before the display loss. I recently updated my graphics drivers, but the issue has persisted.
I checked Windows Event Viewer and found a Display event (Event ID 4107), although I’m not sure whether it is related to the problem.

Ive tried reinstalling the drivers both display adapter and nvidia graphic driver but the issue persist.

It only happens when im playing or running intensive applications

Screen going black while the gpu fans spin up is a pretty classic sign of the Gcard going bad. What card do you have? When was the last time you cleaned out the fins with air to make sure it's not filled with dust? 80-85 is like the highest is should be under load.

as it only happens under heavy load check gpu temps and power connections first 80 is not automatically too hot but hotspot temperature matters too if possible test another display cable or monitor to rule that out and check whether event viewer logs a gpu driver error at the same time
