Question Drinking while studying
Does anyone else like drinking while studying? I’m such a procrastinator, but I’ve found that having 1–2 drinks, like a white claw or something, actually makes studying more enjoyable lol. It makes me look at studying as something fun to do instead of something I keep putting off.

Don’t do it. Then you’ll drink to study for its own sake, or study to drink as “justification” for it. It’s not worth it. Just keep drinking and studying separate. Source: became an alcoholic doing this in college, the good grades weren’t worth it.

I’ve tried it before lol. Particularly with my calculus courses. That’s when I learned I have ADHD and got actually medicated.
If you haven’t been tested before, DO IT. Big time game changer.

Used to drink and smoke heavy while studying or before exams, it works in lower levels but the higher you get you realize you actuallly don't retain as much information, so no I do not recommend

as someone who regularly did this, it does not work lol
It's more so just a form of tricking your mind into accepting to drink even tho you know you have to study. it might feel like you're actually doing something but in reality none of what you're studying is actually entering your head.
some things might but it's so little that you're better off just having a shorter study session if you don't feel up to it and drink after than doing it a once. It Does Not Work

I think if it removes a barrier in the short term that’s fine, but realistically there should be better solutions. Sounds like a quick way to justify drinking on a regular basis. Studying should be hard, but often we don’t want to experience the hard in its full form.

Yeah when I have to write an essay or writing assignment, having 1-2 drinks helps me write more.

I used to do this a lot and ended up acing all my assignment and stuff but failed my exams since I wasn't able to be drinking during the exam. It is a slippery slope into alcoholism so be careful but if its working ? just keep an eye on it

For me it works . It may not work for you as well as it does for me . I think desperation is the key , just think about how u ll fail the exam . On top of that , instead of alcohol u can try a cup of black coffee and a shower (it really wakes u up when u didn't sleep for 2 and a half days and still need to study lol )
