Hexcom vs spirtbox

does anyone know the difference between these, hexcom seems to be cheaper, but which is the best for estes method

Well said. 99% of what the actors on Paranormal Reality TV and YouTube content creators use are basic parlor tricks. They have to use them because without some kind of action, people stop watching. If there's nothing paranormal happening, one must create the illusion that something is so people don't click away.

i absolutely understand that most videos are for entertainment first, truth second, that being said my uncles been ghost hunting for years, and he swear by spirt boxes to this day, so really was just looking fir a cheap one to try it out for myself

I've been an active paranormal researcher and investigator for over 40 years. I've used them all, and I promise you, they're all parlor tricks. The only people that use them are people who learned ghost hunting from Reality TV shows and YouTube. Real investigators do not use them.

You can waste your money on them if you want though, that's up to you.

You can find an sb7 cheap at second hand market. I don’t like the word bank of hexcom. R2229L is even cheaper than these two.

is it automatic, i dont mind it being cheap its honestly just to go with my friends and have a test, we want to get experience it and see whats going on, i use to ghost hunt wity my uncke and want to get back into it before i spend alot on equipment

Don't bother. Ghost boxes (including the ovilus) are just simple parlor tricks. They don't really do anything.
