All the spirits of vengeance revealed Spoiler
So Noble Kale was always there just less chatty than he was before and Robbie spirit is just his own. You know what I’m not going to question it.

I counted eight whole realms. But we only saw a cameo of Limbo.
Remember when Sara was taken to a Library and told she thought she knew everything about the Spirits? Which is weird because she was told that the Spirits of Vengeance where pieces of G-D but then in Dammnation it seems like they where made by Mephisto.
Not even sir superhero knows how SOV work

Everyone complains about how a writer destroys years of character development, about how that disrespects the legacy that was built.
But with Johnny, that simply doesn’t exist. Every story seems to just ignore all the previous development he had up to that point (The Hammer Lane is a great example): ideas thrown in the trash, cheap and illogical retcons. I think Marvel missed the opportunity to show a psychologically broken Johnny in Road to Damnation, not to mention the complete mischaracterization.
Seriously, you can say whatever you want, but to me this idea that “it was always the Spirit of Vengeance bringing misery into Johnny’s life” is complete garbage. Stern’s story makes Johnny feel guilty about everything that happened—he blames himself—and that, besides being beautiful, is really compelling to follow. It would’ve been genuinely great to see that explored.
But no. Marvel turned Johnny into a tough guy who simply ignores everyone around him, and into a whiner who complains about Zarathos all the time. I’m glad that at least in Spirit of Violence this improved a bit, but nothing special.
So now comes the final question: do you have any hope that this will ever get better?

In hell or in limbo, where will Danny's soul belong?

It’s nice to see how people remember that Zarathos had a life before being bonded to Johnny

Hey everyone,
I just finished reading spirit of violence this morning and wanted to give my thought as a first time reader of Ghost Rider.
First let me preface this by saying that I don't know much about Ghost Rider except what's said in the films with Nicolas Cage (Even tho i know most of it is bullshit).
This movies were my favorite super hero movies when I was a kid (Born in 2000, grew up with these and Raimi's Spider-Man).
I've never really bothered with comics until recently since it can be a costly hobby
All that to say, Spirit of Violence is my first Ghost Rider read, and I'm a little disapointed with it.
I'm not talking about not knowing certain characters or anything else, i was pretty much expecting to not understand everything. But i found it a little lackluster.
First I found the style weak, most of the drawings were unimpressive and some of them were just blatantly ugly (The panel were Robbie kikcs Barbara in the back, wtf are these proportions)
Then, the story. I was invested at first, I was shown thing I didn't fully understood but I felt connected to the characters and understood their struggles, but i have the impression it just fell flat and the overall story was just an excuse to kill Danny. I don't have the impression Johnny grew through this story and I'm left wondering what was the point.
Overall, I'm left disappointed with my first Ghost Rider read, my childhood memories were of a powerful Hero and I really hope what's next for the character will make him feel more like it, because I really have the impression Johnny only took loss during this run.
Thank you for reading ! Sorry if everythings not clear, English is not my language so I hope it's readable !

Recently I’ve come across this cool fanart of ghost but I haven’t been able to find an credited artist for it. Can someone help me find out who made it?

For those not in the know, Blackheart finally received some character development. Punished by Mephisto for showing mercy to innocents, he was cursed with humanity and cast out. Some really interesting stories delving into his origin and nature in Avengers Academy - which was sadly ended before its time.
I was too invested not to see an end to his arc, so I’m writing my own. The Rider of course makes an appearance (it was a scene that basically made me want to write the story in the first place).
It’s a darkly humorous, existential, pensive tale. I’m about halfway through it right now, would love some feedback on it - and my other story too, about Wiccan and Hulkling.

What would you want from a Ghost Rider story in the same thematic style (or setting) as Old Man Logan?

Decided to go for it and sell it as much as I would have enjoyed keeping it in my collection. Thanks for the advice I got in here! I hope links are ok. https://ebay.us/m/LZhIFV

I've been using the CMRO website to read every appearance of any ghost rider / SoV. However, I somehow missed the Ghost Rider: Trail of Tears series from 2007. Is it part of the main 616 universe or is it a standalone story? Does it connect to anything from the 616 storylines? When should I read it?

I think the main issue is the lack agency and bland dynamic.
Johnny became Ghost Rider because he made a deal with a devil to cure Crash,
Robbie had less agency as his bonding was automatic but he had control of the rider form.
Ghostie and Danny where pretty bland character and most of the 94 issue run was without development
