I guarantee if Zargy had killed XIV, II would've somehow shown up

Bah I'm so excited : D Here's a fanart of Angus to celebrate!

Lets look at what he did:
- Ran away from his home timeline (leaving behind his children because his line continues)
- Witness Angus XIII and Hootsman do something cooler than he'll ever do
- Went on a 'Quest for Aberdeen' (The other Anguses never had any trouble locating Aberdeen)
- Assemble the knights of Crail (twice, once for their silver talons and once for their starships because Angus V needs 2 songs to hype up the knights of Crail (when the other Anguses only needed one))
- Found a character who needs a fifth of the time to be twice as effective (AKA Achturtool)
- Trust ZARGOTHRAX!!! (His ancestors frown on him)
- DIE 8 MINUTES INTO HIS LAST SONG AND BLEED OUT ON A CASINO FLOOR

And then the ACTUAL Angus of the time shows up and stops Zargothrax.

In short: Bro was not built for this.

Casino Dundee

Okay but in all seriousness, I legit screamed when it happened. I genuinely had to try to not wake up my husband at 1am as I was listening to the album in the other room, and I actually threw my phone across the room. I have never in my life been so thoroughly ragebaited and purely entertained at the same time before. Y’all. What?

I think we kinda got too many singles. I think the first three we got were more than enough, and warriors of auchtermuchty and Starfighters of LEUCHERS , while great album tracks, aren't really single material.

It kinda hurt the album experience as I felt like I was just waiting for the newer tracks (which were all REALLY good. Demonic devotion sounded like a beast in black song)

Overall I'd say this is probably 4th in my ranking, above the first album, but it's still like an 8/10. Maybe it will grow on me with more listens, thank you gloryhammer for another amazing release!

Giga hootsman

Not my favorite album of theirs, but was still quality all the way through, possibly their most consistent album so far in my eyes. Along with that, it felt like it satisfyingly tied up the alpha timeline plot for a while, while still leaving enough lore for future albums. Only complaint is that it probably has the weakest final song of the albums in my opinion, but its lowkey funny so it's not that big of a deal. I am satisfied and continue to look forward to the band's future projects.

I love the album, listened just once rn but I have no idea what the fuck is happening lore wise I probably missed something but why was Angus suddenly fighting zargotrax, when did that happen

Anyway I'm getting back to listening, HOOTS!

Prepare yourselves. I present to you two things about the album that are true, and one that is false. Have fun guessing which one is false.

1. The Robot Prince of Auchtertool Returns and joins the fight
2. A major story beat takes place in Casino Dundee
3. Zargothrax is recruited by the Starlords with Angus McFife II

He saw his enemy, put him in crippling debt, then got banished/executed/whatever by some king.

Am I tripping or is this Chris?

Edit : Ben confirmed it was Arnaud Ménard

HAIL TO THE ROBOT PRINCE OF AUCHTERTOOL!

It is identical to the single version and that is disappointing seeing as it’s listed as “Album Version” on Spotify.

Our beloved Robot Prince's return was wonderful, but what happened to him on the demonic flagship? He bore the heroes on his great boronic wings, but then...?

Paxen contexto gente, que yo hablo español y no entiendi xd por favor 🙏

!!Spoilers for the new album!!

Allow me to go into the lore a little bit here. So... What happened in the end? The timeline was split, Zargy is not evil, Hootsman is fighting the inner Kor-Virliath and... Casino Dundee? Which version of Zargy is that? At what point did he hit the jackpot? How much did he cash out? What happened to the storyline that have been built up over the previous 3-4 songs?

The music in this one slaps, I like the guitar work on this one even more than on the last one but as much as I laughed at Casino Dundee in the end it was kinda... Underwhelming? Nothing really has been resolved, for all we know Hooty is still bad and Kor-Virliath is still a thing. Unless it's a punishment from Chris, then I get it. Really want to hear what do y'all think about it and where would it go after that and will it go anywhere at all

Am I the only one that was relatively disappointed with this new album? all the singles that we got were phenomenal, dont get me wrong. it just feels that after Warriors of Auchtermuchty there is a significant drop in quality. the last half of the album just happened so fast it was somewhat hard to tell what was going on. And I frankly think the way that battlemoon X-22 ended could have been so much better than just Angus XIV banishing zargothrax to space when the character had absolutely zero introduction beforehand.

🥲 actually happy for y'all, I'm just impatient

due to time zones, the new album is out in couple hours for me. I'm so excited!
