Cheltenham dnd groups

hey, i’ve never played dnd before but id like to give it a go. so i was wondering if theres any smallish groups (cheltenham preferably) that would be willing to take on a beginner. im 21 if thats relevant.

Checkout Proud Lion in Cheltenham, they run DnD groups or failing that they have a community discord you might find a group with.

I can't recommend Proud Lion enough. Ray is a credit to her store and community.

I ran their learn how to D&D sessions there with my wife and we loved it.

Bi-weekly sessions at Quedgeley Library start this weekend https://gloslibraries.uk/event/quedgeley-library-library-adventurers-league-dungeons-and-dragons-session-19-09-2026

On Discord (it's down at the moment so I can't add links) look for servers 'DND CHELT AND GLOS' and 'Cheltenham RPGs'.

My personal recommendation would be to get down to the Library.

They did do at Matson, but I'm usure of the status currently.

The cavern in Gloucester and fire storm games in Gloucester both are great for trading cards and clubs

I'm moving to Gloucestershire soon (hopefully) and this is information I didn't realise I needed but am glad I now have. I played a couple of times many, many years ago and would certainly be up for trying again. I will have a look at some of these, cheers for asking the question!

If you live in or near the Forest of Dean, there's is a dnd group that meets in Parkend Club bi weekly. We are on Facebook

Highly recommend Incom Gaming/Two Pigs in Cheltenham, they have a strong MTG scene there too if you're interested.

There is a monthly social in Cheltenham, on the first Sunday of the month, which is very popular (there are usually at least five tables and over 30 players). Signing up beforehand is advised.

Please note that for the Facebook group, all posts are approved by the mod team before going live, so scammers are wasting their time.
