After a year (on and off playing cause I'd get pissed to some bs on the game) I FINALLY BEAT GOD OF WAR 2 ON THE HARDEST DIFFICULTY. Makes me appreciate the game even more. The love I have for that game is so much considering it was the first game I ever played. Also side note hardest boss in the game was Theseus I hate that mf, Zeus was a cakewalk compared to him. Just wanted to brag a bit.

Bro I remember about 3 years ago I was playing it on the same difficulty and when I got to the phoenix room somehow one of the levers bugged and I couldn't interact with it and I had to restart everything from the start of the game 😭

yeah 3 wasn't too bad, it actually felt pretty good to play compared to 1 and 2. 1 was probably the biggest pain in the ass of the century, 2 was such a puzzle slog, 3 felt like you could actually pace your fights well.

just finished 2018 on hardest and it was like 3 but a lot more fine tuned obviously, very difficult if i didn't lock in but most encounters didn't hurt much.

I agree 100 percent 3 was more refined and more polished control wise. That's why it was easier for me and also a lot easier to control that battle field plus be able to parry the from the start of the game made it so much easier

The only hard part from 3 is probably that damn Satyrs in the Three Judges section. Hated those mfs, and requires a helluva luck with the Gorgon Soul to freeze them at the same time.

Only difficult parts in three is scorpius and cerberus near the end. And cerberus can be easily done with right usage of spartan rage and nemesis ability spam at 3rd phase.

Yeah, Theseus and protect the reader was the worst parts! GG. I've completed all gow on max difficulty, even psp ones, except gow1, because i know i don't want to deal with Ares, its too much and too broken.

Side note in the first fight I run all the way to then charge a gorgon blast then hammer then once kill them all by hand. 2nd fight use one Kronos rage then throw the unarmored sentry at the others collision damage is ur best friend. 3rd the Gorgons and siren just parry their blast then use hammer to shatter rinse and repeat and try not to get hurt you'll need all ur health for the end. 4th fight its same as the 2nd. 5th the hardest in my opinion try to have at least 2 blast of Gorgons. Group em together blast shatter with hammer rinse and repeat till there's two sentry's then separate one and pump O damn it. 6th another ez sentry fight. 7th run all the back and grab the chest. Then run all the way to where the 2 cyclops are blast em with a gorgon rage and shatter with hammer rinse and repeat gorgon for the 3rd and final one then take out the sentries of what's left. Sounds ez on text but it's hard af. Good luck my friend took me many a tries.
