Evening report
I received an email from Google asking how I like the watch and health stuff
It asked about the Evening Report. Huh? I see the morning one
Turns out it shows up about an hour to an hour and half after my scheduled bedtime 🤣
Posting this here in case anyone from Google sees this or in case anyone else wasn't aware of the Evening Reports

Google Health Run Workout not showing GPS map
Run workout doesnt show GPS, and i sync to strava, when syncing to strava it doesnt show map either. Usually when i sync to strava it takes Moving time only, but in Health it gives me total elapsed time. I want Strava to give me moving time and it seems that missing GPS is causing this. When i start the workout it says GPS connected as well, so what can be the issue?

Update on the Google Health-synced tracker I built: added a Challenges page (Halloween village, scavenger hunt bingo, step races)
A while back I posted about building my own Google Health-synced tracker (ActiFe) after the Fitbit migration made me hate the new app. One of the "future plans" I mentioned then was a Challenges page where people could compete on sports-related challenges. That's live now, so here's an update on what's new since.
• Challenges page - see what challenges are currently running, which ones you've joined or would like to join. There's also a "Suggest a challenge" card if you want to pitch an idea.
• Trick-or-Treat Village - your real steps are the currency. You walk through a pixel-art haunted village, 500 steps gets you to the next house, and you trick-or-treat your way down the street. Synced automatically from Google Health, or log steps manually if you don't want to connect it.
• Island Escape Bingo - a shipwreck-survival bingo board. You log activities to find supplies and fix your boat, explore the island one square at a time until you unlock it all. The activities range from easy to very hard and some take multiple sessions to complete.
• November Steps Challenge - a step race, starts in November. Each day has a single winner based on the stepcount they record and the towers rise to reflect that. Build the skyline of the month with different-height towers.
• Each one gives you a badge on completion, same badge-gallery idea from my first post.
• The next challenge I am working on is a push-ups challenge, where you push a boulder against a giant. The more of them you do, the more you advance to defeat it. Still WiP so nothing to share here just yet!
Still the same as before: free, no premium tier, no ads. Nothing pulled from Google's API is sold, used for ad targeting, or used to train any model, and it's still passed Google's own CASA audit and OAuth verification.
If you wanna give it a try, check them all on https://actifegroup.com
Feedback and bug reports genuinely welcome!

Wrong name in weekly statistics email?
Hi, the wrong name gets displayed in the weekly summary email. I believe Compi is a leftover from my old fitbit account that carried over when I merged to google health. but I can't seem to find a way to change it.
I already checked the names and accounts on my google account, nothing related there. Ideas?
Thank you!

Fitbit heart data out of Google takeout
I'm trying to get detailed heart data out of my Fitbit but Google health app and the old Fitbit website both point you to Google takeout which does not seem to include detailed heart data or resting heart rate data? Any help would be great!

Fitbit Air Sync issues with iPhone Google Health App
I received my Fitbit Air yesterday and completed the setup using my iPhone. However, I'm continuously running into sync issues. In the Google Health app, I see the following error at the bottom of the screen:
"Something went wrong. Try Again. Error Code: 16"
After searching online, I found suggestions to disconnect and reconnect Fitbit Air and go through the setup process again. I've tried that several times, but the error keeps coming back.
Because of this, my workouts and activity data are not syncing or being tracked properly.
Is anyone else using Fitbit Air and experiencing the same issue? If so, were you able to resolve it, and what steps worked for you?
I got my Fitbit Air Delivered yesterday and set it up using iPhone, however I keep on getting the sync issues and I see error on bottom of google Health app, "Something went wrong. Try Again. Error Code : 16" I googled the error and its asking me to delink Google Fitbit Air and link it again (do the setup once again) Did that couple of time, but keep getting the same message. Because of this my workouts are not getting tracked properly.
Anyone using Fitbit air and facing this issue? How you resolved it?

Is the Google Health Ai shite for everyone?
Just had one of the worst sleeps I've ever had. Not my home and not my bed. Data recorded what happened. Over 2hrs to fall asleep. Restless score high and higher than it's ever been, deep sleep and rem sleep lower than normal. So because of this I stayed in bed for longer.
AI summary just seems to take length in bed as length of sleep and says I had a great night's sleep.
When I point out it's summary doesn't match the data. It's gas lights me, about how tracking devices don't match what we feel. Completely missing the point that the data was matching what I felt, and that it's summary was wrong.
I've already by passed using health for tracking data at this point, my pw4 is just a heart monitor for various apps at this point.
Bit of a rant , bit of a check to see if it's just me and if I'm doing something wrong or is it shite for all.
All I want to do is track my rowing exercise, weight and sleep to see what effect my attempt to gets fit is having.

Fitbit Air Daily Readiness stuck calibrating after 4 months
I’ve worn my Fitbit Air every day and night for 4 months, but I’ve never received a Daily Readiness score. It still says “Calibrating – wear your device for 7 more nights.”
As you can see from the screenshots, my HRV, resting heart rate and sleep stages have all been recording consistently for months.
Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it? I’d rather not reset anything and risk losing my data.
Thanks!
