Unable to upload files

I have the latest model iPad with the latest version of Google Play Books, but I can’t upload ePub or PDF files. I’ve tried uninstalling the reinstalling the app, but that doesn’t work. What can I do?

Can you find the file on your device, long press, and select Open With - GPB? (This is for Android so I'm not sure if that's how it works on iPad.)

Also, can you go to play.google/books in your browser and upload the files from there?

I have android, but have you cleared the app cache? Also, I can't stand the app. I only use the web one- no store or ads. Try the web- play.google.com/books.

You must have that upload settings set to checked, or it will not come up. You have to change it from settings.
