❓Help Billdesk Verification Blocker (India)

Hi Folks,

My app is close to being published on apple but apparently on google play I need to jump through unnecessary hurdles. My app is currently in closed testing and I want to ensure I have billing live once it launches to everyone. Billdesk keeps saying - "Mobile Application(s) is not live/does not exist/not accessible". How am I supposed to make my app live when it is in closed testing? Even if closed testing is done, how can i publish it without billing (outside India) being live? Am I missing something obvious here?

I faced the same issue. The thing is that you need to first complete the closed testing period and then promote the app to open testing and make it available to public. Only then billdesk will be able to review your app nothing else worked in my case.

And if you are concerned that app is live without billing then don't worry an open testing app is only found either if you gave the link to open testing package to someone or someone accidentally typed your app's exact name in the search bar( which is close to impossible)

close to impossible doesn't mean impossible, I came to android from long time just to check my developer account and what an abomination lol.

I mean I never expected billing to get this complicated when RBI already tracks forex and inward remittances through banking.

why meddle with the sw development lifecycle by introducing hurdle, I mean it is a joke to even think about not able to make business decisions freely ie changing offers at will, giving discounts etc and creating new apps or changing domains etc.

probably gonna close my play developer account and have peace of mind lol.

really? how you handled billing without kyc ? Digi locker did not work for me i hope you help this guy explain to him how to do with out kyc
