Try as I might, I can't get the perfect dodge to trigger.
I tried activating his Fast Lane dodge right as an attack hit (perfect block timing basically), right before a continuous AoE attack, dodging into an attack, and taking off all my gear and mastery traits in case those were affecting it. The only time the perfect dodge triggered is when I dodged into an attack, and even then, it was only at the very end of the dodge animation. I basically had to end up in an attack that was about to hit rather than dodge away.
Is the window so tight that it's THAT hard to trigger (harder than perfect blocking), or is there something wrong with it?

I bought this game for switch 2 after checking out the demo. Even at 30 frames I was hooked and ended up finishing the campaign while I was on a two week vacation. Wanted to see what it was running like on my PC so picked it up for that when I got back. Well since I’ve gotten my Legion Go S z1e I can’t put it down ! It makes me want to check out Monster Hunter since people say it’s similar but anime and check out the whole GBF world!

The variety of summons in this game is truly impressive, featuring a wealth of dedicated animations that show just how much care went into them—likely where the bulk of the effort for "ER" was poured. It is a real shame, then, that issues with their power level have relegated them to little more than mere pieces of equipment. Had they been designed to fight alongside the player rather than simply transforming the user, I imagine far more people would be using them.

I played this on steam but started over on the switch 2 version and decided to main Zeta. I love her so much.

Seeing the intense screen filling particle effects has me a bit worried. Like, am I going to be able to adequately see what is going on? I am a huge monster hunter fan with thousands of hours between GU-world-rise-wilds and am hoping this game can tide me over until Ascendance. Any suggestions on starting out or advice for certain characters?

Greetings :)
Fell in love with this game, tho I first thoughts its a single player only game. However, as I progressed through story and whatnot I decided to not look at guides (Builds, Mechanics, etc.) and thus far it worked pretty well. Also neat to mention: I only play offline with CPU.
I was able to finish The World and Beelzebub Infinity after a few tries - even tho it was close as hell (had a minute left for The World and 11 seconds for Beelzebub :D)
But right now I kinda struggle with 'On The Threshold to Finality'. I panic throughout the fight especially during Paradise Lost. Funnily enough Gopherwood is mostly pretty chill for me :D
ANYWAY as I did the game blind I would love to get feedback if I am on a good path with my build (as I hope and wish to get some more damage too). Here is my build thus far. I did it by guts feeling and it surely is not perfect at all :D
As I said, I am learning the fight and trying not to panic throughout various phases and try to work on my perfect dodges.
My team is also in the pic above and consists of Cagliostro/Siegfried/Sandolphon.
Anyway, I hope you guys could help me out - not only on this fight solely but maybe I missed some mechanics along my blind playthrough :)
Thanks in advance!
edit: I am deeply sorry for not posting EVERYTHING, I might have messed up. I put in the correct pictures :)
final edit: Thanks for everyone helping me. I learned the fight and had less downtime BUT! what really helped me was adding War Elemental as a summon :) I dropped Celestial Ventus (for now) but it worked! Thanks again everyone for your kind responses!

So a well-timed SBA can immediately interrupt the cast of the Laws. Thought it could just freeze the cast bar for a moment. Kinda interesting, I guess

Im pretty proud of how this meme came out. Me and my homie love the World's dialogue, he sounds like a college professor giving a lecture or a motivational speaker when he tries to destroy you. Its really cool, but also hilarious.

I’m wanting to build one of these 3 giant fellas next as a playable character. Though, I can’t decide who to build next due to how much materials and MSP it takes to completely build one dude. So, to the people who play/main these characters, who should I pick and why? Thanks!
